Process Steps 1. Starting a claim – NOTE – You can only use this service to claim money from a customer based in England or Wales. Visit https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome 2. Select Login or Register 3. BUL to request their company login from their MA. Once logged in, you can begin a new claim

(NB - The fee needs to be paid online at the end of the submission process. 5. Add a Reference to your claim (GP Number &/or Invoice Number is suggested) 6. If your registered address is in England or Wales you can just move through the next step, however if your business is registered in Scotland (or N Ireland) you must enter an address in England (suggest using the Vesta address). The BUL should add their name in the Name line.

Complete the Claim Particulars To calculate the daily rate of interest, multiply the amount owed by 8%, then divide by 365. The Amount Claimed at the bottom is the total invoice value, plus the daily interest rate (multiplied by the number of days between the money becoming due and the date you are issuing the claim Complete the statement then finally select Calculate at the bottom

You can log back into Money Claim Online to see those claims you have Open – and you MUST update them (once payment is cleared – not just on a promise of payment) through here to stop the legal process.
