i-SIC is the second innovation competition organized byAcademic International Dialogue (AID Academy) afterorganizing various national and international conferencessince 2016 in Malaysia.This program aims to bring together professionals,academics, researchers, and students to showcase theirinnovation and research through poster presentations anddemonstrations of products.Besides that, i-SIC also encourages innovations that arerelated to teaching and learning practices at universities andschools.The competition is open to all (professionals, academics,researchers, and students). Participation can be individual orgroup. A combination of academics/lecturers, staff, and students isallowed. Participants are encouraged to prepare additionalmaterials such as brochures, pictures, certificates, or anyother related materials apart from the innovation productsduring the competition day.2
The main aim of i-SIC is to provide a platform for allinnovators at various levels (professionals, academics,researchers, and students) to share their findings and to beevaluated at a higher level. i-SIC also hopes to become theavenue for all educators at universities and schools to sharetheir teaching and learning innovative ideas and practices, sowe may improve teaching styles and become moreproductive and efficient in teaching.3
