Why Choose ICD Before I started ICD I attended the ICD Summer Scheme I learned to find my way around the College I got to know staff and I joined ICD for Sixth Form I was impressed with the extensive range of A Level subjects on offer It was time for me to move on and I chose to make friends with others who were joining the College before I even started I was happy that I was accepted to ICD because my brother is at the College and he had been telling me that I would feel safe here that the teachers were to do that at an integrated school I am studying Biology Psychology and Geography for A Level I am undecided about my career path though I will most likely go on to study midwifery or teaching kind and nice and that I would enjoy the There is a very happy atmosphere in this College learning My favourite subject is Maths which is and I made friends easily I spend every minute of great because I didn t like Maths at primary school I really like Drama and Sports also When I joined ICD I attended extracurricular Netball Club and Football Club but found these weren t for me so I tried Junk Kouture Club and every school day with people from all religions or none and with people of different cultures Students celebrate their cultures differently in ICD but we have learned to accept our differences Archery Club and enjoyed both of them I made the right choice in coming here Unfortunately I cannot attend Archery Club until after the College Production is over Heather ICD Year 13 Student because I am taking part in the ICD s performance of Aladdin and I am busy in rehearsals I am also a member of the College s Junior Choir which I really enjoy and I was delighted to be selected as an Anti Bullying Ambassador which means I get to support other students ICD certainly does keep me busy though I still have lots of time to focus on my work and enjoy my friends Abbie Year 8 Student Personally I could not speak highly enough about the NIFL Scholarship Programme It was two of the best years of my life Being able to train with top players under the guidance of UEFA A licence coaches while enrolled in Sixth Form at Integrated College Dungannon who offered great support to every student was a fantastic opportunity I genuinely believe I learned more in two years about myself as a player person and student than any other I attended a Junior High School for Years 8 10 and then had to choose where to go next for GCSE study I noticed when I visited ICD that period of my life Playing in the final of the U18 Danske Bank NI Schools Cup in Windsor Park and lifting the cup alongside my teammates and best friends Jadon Kenny and Lee is a memory some staff and students were wearing a that will always make me happy If you aspire to poppy while others weren t I have since become a better footballer student and person learned that at ICD people respect each other s I believe the NIFL Scholarship Programme with beliefs You are accepted for who you are I have Integrated College Dungannon is perfect for made friends with people in my class who are you from different faiths and I feel very comfortable in my friendship circle I have learned a lot about Former student Liam Corr who was awarded a 22 integration and respect since joining ICD US Scholarship as a student of the NIFL Scholarship Programme and who is currently Ellen Year 11 student studying at Regis University Denver Colorado

I attended the College for seven years During my time I received support for my education extracurricular activities pastoral care and my own personal development ICD was a massive stepping stone in setting me up for the real world of life work and future aspirations I was challenged provided with opportunities to grow learn and be forever grateful Megan Former Student I remember those days of considering the best school for your child and the worry about how they will settle in and if they will make friends cope with the workload and enjoy their post primary education I sent my four daughters here and watched each of them excel They were challenged academically supported pastorally and provided with excellent opportunities through an extensive extracurricular programme and preventative education programme all of which successful young women Stephen Head of PE at ICD I am the Chairperson of the College s Parent Council The Parent Council provides an opportunity to learn more about how the College operates and to be involved in making important decisions as well as organising fundraising events to purchase additional resources for the students and subject departments As a parent of three ICD students past and present I can say that staff at the College are supportive and caring and go the extra mile to ensure each student reaches their full potential Rhondda Kelly Chairperson ICD Parent Council 23
