IDOE Women’s Ministry2024 MASTERCLASS Masterclass Session Title: Preparing Whose Next, While Discovering Your Next Assignment” Subtopic: Mentoring Others to Reach Their Full Potential Masterclass Session Instructor: Lawanne’ S. Grant, PhD Email: lgrant@leadershipdevelopme.com Social Media Connect: @lawannegrant on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube. Website: www.leadershipdevelopme.com Course Focus: This masterclass offers high-performing leaders deep insights into the art of mentoring others to reach their full potential, both naturally and spiritually. The focus is on equipping leaders with the wisdom and tools to guide individuals toward personal and professional excellence while fostering their spiritual growth. The details shared will emphasize the significance of a balanced approach, blending practical skills with spiritual discernment, to create lasting impact and transformation in those they mentor. Leaders will explore how mentoring not only empowers others but also aligns with their own journey of discovering their next assignment. This is crucial because nurturing future leaders who are grounded both in their abilities and in a strong sense of purpose ensures sustained success and legacy-building in the church and our communities. Course Goal: The goal of this masterclass is to help leaders identify their dominant leadership style while discovering key leadership principles rooted in Scripture. Participants will explore how biblical tenets can guide their mentoring efforts and leadership approach. The course will provide actionable steps for practical application, allowing leaders to integrate these principles into their daily practices, both in nurturing the growth of others and in discovering their own evolving roles. The ultimate aim is to foster leadership that is both effective and spiritually aligned. Introduction: Mentoring is a vital cornerstone of effective church leadership, shaping not only the current generation but also the future of the church. Without intentional mentoring, churches can face stagnation, as the next wave of leaders may lack the guidance, wisdom, and spiritual maturity needed to lead effectively. However, when mentoring is present, it fosters growth, continuity, and spiritual depth, equipping individuals to step confidently into their God-given assignments. This masterclass challenges you to become a catalyst for the future by embracing your role as a mentor, intentionally preparing others for the next steps in their journey. By doing so, you align yourself with God’s plan to raise up future leaders who are rooted in biblical principles and ready to lead with purpose and vision.
