Independent Distribution Collective presents our 57th Solicitation just in time for Record Store Day and early 2nd quarter placement (our second solicitation of 2014). We are excited about many of these new releases and are very proud to have a handful of great artists joining IDC. Please note we moved both our physical and warehouse locations in early August of 2013. FROM HELL - Ascent From Hell
An epic horror concept album recorded with Metal icons Paul Bostaph of Slayer, Damien Sisson of Death Angel and Steve Smyth of Nevermore, Testament, and Forbidden. Produced by George Anderson and Steve “Snake” Green, guitar player from Skinlab, this recording is a theatrical 70 minutes long with segues in between each song to give additional detail to this horror story. This record will take you on a heavy metal horror ride to Hell!

As they already have in the past, no:carrier once again carve their own path with their new album “Wisdom & Failure,” showcasing their unique brand of Electro Noire Pop. The album’s foundation is a mixture of Dark Wave and Electro-/Synth-Pop, but from there singer Cynthia Wechselberger and keyboardist/ producer Chris Wirsig enter unknown territory, skillfully adding acoustic instruments and elements of other styles – resulting in a sound that is more versatile than ever.

The Fabulous Miss Wendy - No One Can Stop Me
LA's punk inspired rock princess The Fabulous Miss Wendy and the fuchsia hair she rode in on have not only shredded on tour with the likes of Slash, Nashville Pussy and UFO, but she also did two musical tours of duty for American Troops in Iraq. She is endorsed by GMP Guitars and has been featured many times by national media including Guitar World, Guitar International, Playboy Radio Channel (Sirius/XM network) and ABC TV. The Fabulous Miss Wendy has just completed her album with music mastermind Kim Fowley (The Runaways). Wendy is currently on tour and planning another national US tour in 2014 with UFO.

Are Too - Life Injected
Jazz, hip-hop, classical and several other genres of music serve as foundational precursors to Are Too’s songwriting style and production. Playing off of her formal music training, Are Too (Rachel Repanshek) takes those influences into her honest lyricism and playful production as a singer, multiinstrumentalist, and producer. Life Injected is both a demonstration of her growth as a producer and musician, and a personal reflection on her history.

Beneath Your Reflection is an exploration of downtempo melodies, instrumental hip hop, found sound and IDM influences. The album was composed, performed, written, engineered and mixed by Sub Liquid in his studio near Nevada City, CA. Re-tooling the mold cast by the "EDM" scene and obsessive genre delineation, Beneath Your Reflection encompasses a cache of surprises drawn from influences as divergent as Four Tet, Tycho, Tortoise and Luke Vibert.
