17 Key Goals for 2024 While not exhaustive these eight goals represent some of the most important goals our team is working to accomplish in 2024 1 Achieve measurable progress toward every church in the world having a global partnership with another Acts 29 church 2 Implement pathways for church planter recruitment training and assessment At least 15 very well qualified applicants will be recruited and added to this process in 2024 3 Implement a comprehensive communication strategy to ensure all audiences know who we are why we re here and how they can engage 4 Host our 2024 US National Conference in Dallas TX as well as 16 regional 1 day events across the United States 5 Grow our cohort participation to 75 lead pastor participation 6 Revamp our assessment process for a new era of church planting This includes developing necessary assessment processes to align with church planting needs in 2024 and beyond 7 Create and implement a long term fundraising strategy for cultivating financial partners 8 Bring increased clarity and structure to the relationship between Acts 29 Central and our Global Regions This includes improving internal communication updating global communication strategies and improving data tools used to support our global ministry website assessment processes database etc Content Where We ve Been 3 Who We Are 4 A Global Network 5 Values and Postures Core Values 7 Aspirational Values 8 Postures 9 How We Will Define Success 10 How We Are Organized 11 Regional Structures 12 Global Structures 13 Who Will Lead These Efforts 14 2 Year Calendar 15 Key Goals for 2024 17
A Global Network Acts 29 Churches 14 Who Will Lead These Efforts Canada 25 Europe 81 United States 443 Latin America 68 Africa 24 Acts 29 Board The board provides leadership and direction to the organization by appointing the President They are involved in speaking into and approving strategic direction and plans In addition to Brian Howard the President of Acts 29 current board members are Matt Chandler Executive Chairman Hunter Beaumont Donny Cho and Vic Keller Staff Leadership Brian Howard President Brian provides overall leadership to Acts 29 and directs a leadership team of senior leaders who each lead areas of focus within Acts 29 Justin Anderson US Vice President Justin provides leadership to US regions regional directors areas wives support pastoral care etc cohorts and events Andy Bean Vice President of Operations Andy leads the operational team that serves Acts 29 through HR finance systems and communications Dan Vander Plaats Vice President of Development Dan leads Acts 29 s fundraising e orts helping us connect donors to the work of Acts 29 around the world Adam Flynt Vice President of Church Planting Adam leads our division of church plants which includes developing a church planting pipeline that includes recruitment training assessment resources cohorts and support Tyler Jones US Vice President Tyler provides leadership to US Hub churches to needed resources as well as world Scott Zeller Vice President of Acts 29 Global Scott leads our Global Regional Directors regions and is a champion for global church partnerships in the US and beyond
13 Global Regions Beyond the US Acts 29 s global network is composed of several large regions While the geographic scope strategies The regions all have directors who are providing leadership to their regional leadership teams and working to catalyze relationships and church planting in their regions Through our global regions churches in every nation are able to be part of the Acts 29 network and join us in our mission Current Acts 29 churches are able to form church to church partnerships on every inhabitable continent Global Regions Africa Canada Europe Latin America MENA South Asia United States Middle East North Africa 10 Asia Pacific 41 Staff Leadership Asia Pacific Adam Ramsey Africa One Mokgatle Canada Dwight Bernier Europe Philip Moore Latin America Francisco Bendfeldt Middle East North Africa South Asia Scott Zeller Global total 692
9 Postures We expect the posture of leaders and churches involved with Acts 29 to be marked by the following attitudes and actions 10 Humility Over Pride We live and serve others without selfish ambition or conceit Phil 2 3 and lay our own interests aside for the sake of the gospel Holiness in Freedom While we celebrate the freedom of Christ we do not allow this to distract from our commitment to personal holiness Our freedom compels us to live holy lives in faithful service unto God 1 Pet 2 16 Gracious in Relationship We are gracious in appreciating views within Acts 29 other than our own recognizing that the range of application and practice is wider in a network than it may be within a local church We bear with one another in love with an eagerness for unity and peace Eph 4 1 3 Interdependence Over Independence Acts 29 churches are committed to working together collaborating and supporting one other knowing that two are better than one Ecc 4 9 rings true within church planting Proactive Generosity Our churches church leaders and church planters willingly and proactively give toward the mission of Acts 29 We generously o er support to see more churches planted and strengthened Phil 4 15 17 How We Will Define Success 1 Every Acts 29 church is all in with Acts 29 This is measured by Participation Cohorts Areas Conferences Events Planting 10 of budget to church planting including 2 to Acts 29 and another 8 to church planting with emphasis given to Acts 29 plants Partnering One global partner and one local partner within Acts 29 2 We are planting churches worldwide 3 Acts 29 church plants and churches are experiencing a significant number of conversions to Christ and baptisms 4 Acts 29 church plants succeed and thrive to year 10 and beyond 5 We are adding existing churches to Acts 29

11 8 How We Are Organized Acts 29 s sta and programs are organized around four key groups Church Planters Churches Hub Churches and our Global churches and partners Organizing in such a way allows us to strategically engage churches in various life stages and to maximize our impact as a network Church Planters US A church planter is anyone who has gone through the Acts 29 application process A er planting we still categorize these churches as Church Plants and Church Planters until year 5 when we hope to see churches meet a certain set of criteria Churches US Acts 29 Churches are older than 5 years old and generally have budgets under 2M and attendance under 800 Hub Churches US Aspirational Values Aspirational values are values that we are committed to prioritizing and growing in so that in addition to our current core values these values would also describe the future of Acts 29 Hub churches are churches whose size resources and influence impact their engagement with church planting Generally these churches have budgets over 2M Sunday attendance of over 800 and a significant amount of influence in their cities in church planting and in our network Global This category includes all Acts 29 Churches and structures outside of the United States Global Partnership We are committed to seeing every Acts 29 church engaged in church planting partnerships with Acts 29 planters This includes seeing every church have at least one global partner church for the purpose of mutual encouragement in the faith and partnership in gospel work Biblical Diversity We are committed to seeing Acts 29 leadership churches pastors and planters reflect the diversity of both the Kingdom of God and the contexts in which we work Church Excellence We are committed to seeing Acts 29 churches grow better and thrive while yet striving to see more churches planted These churches are e ective in ministry full of healthy leaders are seeing people come to Jesus and bringing light to the darkness around them
7 Values Postures Core Values For over 25 years Acts 29 has been a network marked by three core values Though much has changed both in Acts 29 and in the world around us the future of Acts 29 will embody these same core commitments Church Planting We are rigorously committed to missional evangelistic church planting This commitment is shared by every Acts 29 church Theological Alignment In an ever changing world Acts 29 stands on theological convictions and is made up of church planters and churches that are theologically aligned This means that while specific applications of our theology may vary from church to church you can be confident that biblical truth and sound theology are at the root of all we do Relational Collaboration Together we foster a network where churches ministry learn from one another form meaningful relationships and catalyze missional partnerships to see more churches planted around the world 1120 WA OR ID Northern Nevada UT Southern CA Nevada MT WY CrO AZ NM AK ND MN SD WI NE IA IL KS MO OK AR ME VT NH MI NY MA RI PA IN OH WV VA KY NJ CT MD DE TN NC SC MS AL GA TX LA FL HI Regional Structures US One key way we structure our teams and programming for Church Planters Churches and Hub Churches in the US is related to our regional structures WEST We have five regions in the US along with 16 sub regions Each region has a part time 20 hour a week regional director Each sub region has a part time director as well Additionally there are 75 areas that each have a volunteer area lead Regional leadership teams consist of the regional director 2 4 sub regional directors a wives support coordinator and a pastoral care pastor NORTH ATLANTIC The regional directors provide leadership to regional leadership teams in their area and work to catalyze relationships and church planting in their regions Sub regional directors exist to help make the regions feel more manageable in size so that we re sure there are leaders who know every church and its leaders in a certain region Area leaders help to catalyze area church planting and help develop closer area specific relationships SOUTHEAST MIDWEST TEXAS Coast
