They may hold the washer and dryer, or a riding lawn mower as partof the package after inspection. CLOSING 101PREPARE FOR IT:The closing day marks the end of your home-buying process and the beginning of your new life!To make sure your closing goes smoothly, you should bring the following:A certified check for closing costs and down payment. The two events that makethis happen are:Delivery of the buyers' funds: This is the check or wire funds provided by your lender in theamount of the loanDelivery of the deed: A deed is a document that transfers ownership of the real estate. Thedeed names the seller and buyer gives a legal description of the property and contains thenotarized signatures of the seller and witnesses. At the end of closing, the deed will be taken and recorded at the county clerk’s office. It will besent to you after processing. Keep in mind, then and only then, will the property become yours andbe accessible to you. Please do not plan your moving truck to deliver your goods immediately afterclosing.
