Hedda’s Helping Hands Kitchen Recipes#1 GlōggIngredients:1bottleBurgundyRedwine 4-5pieceswholecinnamon3.5ozvodka20-25ClovesRindof1Orange½tspWholecardamomInstructions:Place all spices except Sugar & Orange rind into the vodkaand let sit overnight.Next day strain the now flavored vodkaand set aside. In a pot mix the vodka, wine, and sugar.On a VERY VERY low heat mix till sugar is dissolved.Do not boil. This drink is served warm.To make this Non-Alcoholic. Mix all items in a pot andcook on low heat for 1 hour. Let sit overnight, then strainIf you want to add some extra try adding almonds andraisins in your drink. Makes for a tasty treat afterwards.¾cupsugarNon-alcoholic:substitute1bottleapplejuiceand2bottlegrapejuice.ENJOY!

ENJOY!Hedda’s Helping Hands Kitchen Recipes#2 FlaneIngredients: 3⁄4 cup sugar4 large eggs1 tbsp vanilla extractOne 14 oz can Sweet condensedMilk1 1⁄2 cup whole milkCaramel:1 cup sugar6 tbsp butter1⁄2 cup cream1 tsp saltOr use store bought caramel*.Caramel: Place sugar on low heat. It will clump but that iscorrect. Keep your eye on it so it does not burn. Once melted,remove from heat and add in butter. It will bubble violently. Youare doing it right. Then add in cream and salt and mix tillincorporated. Pour caramel into the base of your flan pan. I usea 8-10 inch cake pan for mine. In another bowl mix all ingredientstill smooth. Pour this mixture over the caramel in your pan.Cover the pan with foil. Find a larger pan that your flan pan willfit into leaving some room around it. In the larger pan fill withwater till it comes halfway up your flan pan. Bake in the oven for 1hour 15 minutes. Place into the fridge overnight to cool completely.N h P f h f
