After years of dreaming how all of thismay take shape, including multiple close calls and times of despair,we feel blessed to have been given the opportunity at HalversonHouse for our family to live and work side by side on a daily basiswhile also being a resource for other families to celebrate and enjoywhat it means to gather together. It is truly a one of a kind propertywith so much history, inside & out, that we are excited to honor it'slegacy as we take it into its new life as not only a home for ourfamily, but as a memorable marker in others. page 15Do you have any restrictions? No flames, fireworks, outside alcohol, or subwoofers. The proximity of local residences to Halverson House is such that venue sounds, specifically related tomusic, must be kept below certain levels. All sound will be monitored to stay below a 95 decibel levelwithin the barn and 60 decibels at our property lines. Halverson House reserves the right to ensuremusic, sound and/or noise levels are kept to an acceptable level at all times and in compliance withlocal noise ordinances. Can I bring in my own alcohol or food to my event? Halverson House requires in-house catering and beverage packages for all events with the exceptionof desserts. Any and all alcohol (wine, champagne, beer, or liquor) must be purchased throughHalverson House and will only be served by Halverson House staff. Additionally, there is NO shot ordoubles service and no outside alcohol or illegal substances allowed to be brought onto the premisesat any time. Am I responsible for setting up and taking down my event?While other venues require hours of your sweat (and unfortunately often tears) setting up orcleaning up your dream wedding, we include these services with day-of support to allow you andyour family to enjoy the entirety of your special day. Additionally, we will store your goods whichmay be dropped off the Friday before your event and picked up the Monday after. FAQSDo you have preferred vendors?While we do have a list of preferred vendors who we would recommend on our website to help withyour planning, you are welcomed to bring in your own vendors as long as they have completed thenecessary vendor agreement forms with Halverson House. Are there any additional fees or gratuities?All Friday & Saturday weddings have a combined food & beverage minimum of $7,500. A 15%gratuity will be added to food & beverage invoices and counts towards your $7,500 minimum.What are your site's event hours?Halverson House event hours are Sun-Thurs. 10-9PM & Fri-Sat. 10-11PM. How many guests can I have?Our site maximum is 200 guests, with a suggested guest max of 185 for seated dinner events.
