Hallway Kits Installation Instructions 3 5 grade

WHAT COMES IN THE BOX When you receive your kit the elements will be rolled up inside There are 1 4 elements on each roll There are approx 90 120 total elements Info card installation instructions Each kit has its own theme items in each kit pertain to the theme Art Nature ABC etc

Each element will need to be fully cut out you can do this using normal scissors Once you have each element cut out you are ready to begin your layout There are several different ways that these hallway kits can be laid out the most important thing to remember is to incorporate ABL within the layout we want to get your students moving in the hallways Step 1

HOW TO INSTALL ON FLOOR Make sure the area that you are wanting to apply the decals to is cleaned with alcohol or mild cleaner first this will decrease amount of bubbles and allow the decal to adhere much better Take first decal and peel the backing off of it Take it to the place that it will be applied and carefully put the tip of one side down on the surface With your other hand pull the decal a little taught and from the side that is adhered to the surface use a credit card or similar tool and move it along the decal from stuck side to the other until the whole sticker is adhered to the surface Step 2 Step 3 and apply to floor Step 4

12 FOUNDATIONS STICKERS Each kit will come with 12 elements that pertain to each of the 12 Foundations of Learning Readiness These can be placed in a pathway to allow the student to walk skip jump twirl etc to each decal and then perform the activity listed

ARROWS Each kit will come with various arrows that will allow you to direct the pathway Place these in between elements to show the students which way to go Make sure to place each element the appropriate distance apart to allow for the student to perform the activity The arrows come in either straight or circle With the circle arrows have the student turn around on that spot You can also add 2 straight arrows next to each other to indicate that they need to hop to the next station

NUMBERS Each kit will come with a set of numbers 1 10 These can be placed on the wall floor for a number line or they can be placed on the floor in a hopscotch pattern

ALPHABET Each kit will come with the alphabet These can be placed on the wall floor On the floor they can be placed in a hopscotch pattern or just in order and can be used for learning words corresponding to the letter You can also place arrows between them to have the student jump twirl or walk to the next letter

START FINISH Each kit will come with a decal to place at the beginning of the path and at the end

ADDITIONAL ELEMENTS Each kit depending on the theme will come with elements that can be added to inspire excite and encourage the student to engage with the activity These elements can be placed inbetween other elements to encourage movement they can be added to the course just as a decoration
