M S TEXAS SENIOR AM ERICACamille Schm idt is the Royal Int ernat ional Miss Southern States Preteen. She is from Johns Creek, GA, and is a 5th grader in her school?s Talent ed and Gifted program. She is a flyer and tum bler on her all-star cheerleading team at the St ingrays Cheer Gym and for her middle school com petit ion team.Her platform is called the Gift of Joy, where she strives to bring joy to children experiencing homelessness or food insecurit y. Through this program , she has delivered birthday bags t o alm ost 700 children in need. She also delivered Christ m as cheer bags for almost 200 children in each of the past three years. One of the ways she funds these project s is through her bat h bom b business, A Gift of Joy. She has sold over 200 bat h bombs so far and has recently added soaps, which have been very successful as well.Because of her love of service, she has been awarded t he Presidential Gold Service Award for the past three years. In her spare tim e, she enjoys art, traveling, hiking, and snorkeling.
