MAKE A GIFT There are many ways to support EA philanthropically MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR GIFT EITC OSTC Tax Credit Programs Did you know that the state of Pennsylvania has a program that allows qualified individuals to make contributions to a scholarship organization such as Episcopal in return for tax credits In the past three years alone over 150 EA community members have utilized these programs to provide over 12 million in financial aid to EA students Endowment Giving Gifts to the school s endowment provide a permanent sustainable source of funding that helps our board and administration plan for a sustainable future A draw is taken each year to support specific funds as well as the overall operating budget Funds are most often used to support faculty compensation and development specific academic programs and financial aid for students Planned Giving The Bishop William White Society The Bishop William White Society honors all who name The Episcopal Academy as a beneficiary of a will trust retirement plan life insurance policy life income gift or other type of planned giving arrangement Arranging to sustain one s philanthropic legacy at a future date is a thoughtful mutually beneficial way to support the school All are welcome to join regardless of the size of their bequest or planned gift Your Participation is Important Episcopal relies on the generous financial support of our alumni parents students faculty staff and friends Gifts of all sizes truly make a difference Beyond the dollars every gift is an indicator of confidence in Episcopal Join the Advocate Council Leadership gifts to our school account for 95 of our total contributions Those who give 1 785 in one year are members of the Advocate Council Advocate donors are invited to an event hosted by the Head of School and listed in a prominent section of the Annual Report Aurora Vesper Society Greville Haslam Society Esse Quam Videri Society Jay Sherrerd 47 Society Cornerstone Society Juniper Society Advocate Society Young Alumni Advocate Graduates from the last 20 years 50 000 and above 25 000 49 999 17 850 24 999 10 000 17 849 5 000 9 999 2 500 4 999 1 785 2 499 2002 2006 1 000 2007 2012 500 2013 2017 250 2018 2021 100 Annual Giving through We seek over 2 million of unrestricted support every year through The Episcopal Fund EA s number one fundraising priority When you make a gift you can designate the dollars to academics the arts athletics diversity equity and inclusion DEI faculty financial aid spirituality and community service technology or the area of greatest need It is your participation in our donor community that matters most Become a Donor By becoming a RepEAt donor you ll show your loyalty to Episcopal while minimizing the immediate impact on your wallet Easily make recurring gifts online at episcopalacademy org giving repeat and your gift will automatically be processed each month If a 100 one time gift is too onerous consider giving 10 each month instead Utilize Your Company s Matching Program Many gifts to Episcopal are doubled or even tripled because corporations and foundations match gifts made by their employees retirees and directors To learn if your company or your spouse s company participates in a matching gift program please reach out to your human resources department
