Consultants are legally qualified and admitted advocates to the High Court of South Africa. Both are former magistrates and have extensive experience in the corporate / business environment. The business is built on a philosophy of preventing and avoiding litigation and disputes in the first instance. Should litigation ensue, to have a solid legal case with a good chance of success. This is achieved by way of pre-emptive risk assessments and using practical experience together with legal and strategic expertise to address and minimise potential risks. A holistic approach incorporating commercial, governance as well as employment interests is followed. Implementation of processes, policies, practices and contractual systems is accompanied by sustained practical and legal guidance, support, training, dispute resolution, conflict management, negotiations and legal correspondence as may be required.  Particular knowledge of the Construction industry: Deputy Director / Legal Advisor at the Gauteng Master Builders Association (1997 – 2008). Duties included assistance and legal guidance to members and the Association in respect of labour issues; new legislation; contractual and ethical issues. He served as long standing member of committees in the construction industry and was involved in contractual and legal issues pertaining to the industry at national level; liaising with Government Departments; sitting as an industry representative on the then Gauteng Building Bargaining Council, employment benefit committees; managing membership services. Judith Griessel has practised and specialised in labour law for 25 years subsequent to leaving the Department of Justice. She was employed as a national IR manager for 10 years (1995 to 2005) in the Wholesale and Retail sector before becoming an independent labour consultant (2005 to date).
