Mission What We Do To enable all young people especially those who need Boys Girls Clubs of the us most to reach their full potential as productive Coastal Plain offers young people 6 to 18 years of caring responsible citizens For over 50 years we have helped put young people on the path to great futures Boys Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain annually serves over 3 500 youth through membership and community outreach in Homework Assistance Science Technology Workforce Development Field Trips age what they want and Engineering and Guest Speakers need most staff members Mathematics STEM Drug Alcohol who are role models who Nutrition Education respect and listen to them Leadership a safe environment where Who We Are Programs We Offer Development Prevention Delinquency Prevention they can be themselves and have fun and constructive Youth of the Year activities to channel their youthful energy Recreation Teen Centered Programs Programming We offer five core areas of programming to help make Intervention Get Involved a difference in the lives of our Club members There are many ways to Education Career Development be involved with Boys Character Leadership Development Girls Clubs of the Health Life Skills Coastal Plain We always The Arts welcome new faces to Sports Fitness Recreation help shape the future of our Club s 17 facilities our communities If you are looking to volunteer Our Clubs are designed to regularly working with maximize opportunities for the kids in the Clubs is a great avenue If you want to young people to acquire contribute but don t have time to volunteer regularly a sense of belonging usefulness influence and competence We have computer learning centers arts and crafts areas gymnasiums libraries game and multi purpose rooms and outdoor play areas All of our Units are staffed by trained professionals who truly care and are vested in realizing the full potential of each young person What We Provide A safe place to learn and grow while having fun A place where great futures start each and every day An affordable place for young people to go during non school hours and during the summer A program that creates ongoing relationships with caring adults and new friends Life enhancing programs and character development experiences A positive environment where a sense of consider donating your time to a program or a special event Invest in the Future Thank you for considering a gift to Boys Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain It costs our organization much more than the price of a membership to put one young person through our programs Contributions by generous companies organizations foundations and individuals are essential for providing great futures to our youth belonging personal accountability influence self esteem and community are all reinforced For more information visit www bgccp com
