Why Women and GirlsGiving Women exists for and because of its members, the projects and the organisations and experts who share our vision. This year, we launched the #letsredefinephilanthropycampaign to amplify our commitment to make philanthropy accessible to all. Fourteen years on, we are more convinced than ever that philanthropy is no longer the domain of the rich and famous. There is place for each and every one of us to be a philanthropist, by giving of our passion, humanity, time, knowledge, experience and skills. So, in 2023, we are calling out to women everywhere to join us to make our world a place where girls and women are safe, healthy, educated and in charge of their lives.Atalanti Moquette Founder of Giving Women While global conflict and climate catastrophes continue to impact the lives of girls and women in 2022, we are humbled to see the growing commitment of the Giving Women community to give what it can to contribute to positive change to the most vulnerable women and girls globally. As we welcome more women and organisations from more countries into our project circles and events, we remain convinced that there is a place for everyone in this epic journey to fully address the SDGs

Page 8

Giving Women support is provided by our diverse and engaged membership on a voluntary basis. Through Project Circles, members offer their time, expertise and skills to the selected projects. MentorshipWe provide an opportunity for the project owners to articulate concerns and challenges that they are facing in a safe and caring space. We then accompany them in a process to define how they can address these concerns and challenges.Strategic DevelopmentProjects we work with are often at a cross-roads where they need to re-evaluate their strategic direction and strengthen their organisational structures. We help in this process which helps them to grow and become more sustainable.Fund Raising StrategyGiving Women does not provide funding or fundraising services to any of the projects we support. We do, however, help our projects to optimise their fundraising strategies and activities.Impact Evaluation Core to any social impact driven organisation is a strong monitoring and evaluation process. We encourage the projects to go through tried and tested processes to help them develop a robust monitoring, evaluation and learning framework essential for donor reporting and as a learning tool for the project.8A Project Circle (PC) is a group of Giving Women members who collaborate to support a project sourced, screened and presented at a Giving Women project evening.
