My 13 year old son and I, along with some other dads and sons, stayed at the Gator Housefor a long weekend to catch a football game. Being a UF Alumni for over 30 years I visitoften and stay in hotels. That has changed forever! The house was fully renovated, beautifully appointed and comfortably slept 12 people. Butmore importantly. It really is an iconic house with the orange and blue shutters thateveryone recognizes. We had a 6 hour tailgate on the front lawn directly on 13th St. acrossfrom the hospital and campus. I can't tell you how many people stopped by to say hello andtalked about their memories of the house from their days in college. I shared many of mine. The common theme was the legend of the house being the home of Tom Petty. Something Ilearned 30+ years ago in my days at UF. Staying at the Gator House really brings you backhome to the days of old. -Chris"Iconic Stay!Susannah was, by leaps and bounds, the best Airbnb host I have ever had. Greatcommunication, flexible/accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure wehad a perfect (not even just 'great') experience. The house itself is perfect for a large group-- plenty of space, and an excellentlocation. Huge yard and outdoor area for BBQs, tailgate, etc. True steal for the value. Will stay here every time I come to Gville for a football game. 10/10! 5 stars all theway!- Manny"HIGHLY RECOMMEND"
