Obituary "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." John 5:28,29 Annie R. Moses was born September 30, 1938, to the Union of the late Harriet Smith Mungin and John P. Mungin on St. Helena Island, South Carolina. She grew up in Beaufort, South Carolina. She attended Penn School, which was established to promote Black education and heritage on St. Helena Island and continues to do so to this day. After her mom and family moved to Savannah, Georgia, where she received her formal education, she is a graduate of A. E. Beach High School. Around the age of 21, she moved to New York City and worked for the State. She was employed at College Social Services and other government jobs. Her hobbies, which she loved, included sewing (as a seamstress), creating arts and crafts, ceramics, and decorating. Annie moved home in the summer of 1975. My brother, Kendal Moses, was born in Savannah's Memorial Hospital. My sister, Linda Moses, was born in New York City at Flower Fifth Avenue. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Linda Moses and Kendal Moses; grandchildren, twins Anthony and Antionnete, Corriannah Moses of Savannah, Kalin of Savannah, Matthew and Keni; sisters, Barbara of New York, Essie (living) of New Jersey, Constance Mungin of New York, the late Shirley Mungin of New York City; brothers, the late John W. Mungin and John J. Mungin, both of New York; grandnieces, Sydney Mungin, Precious Mungin, Marleena Mungin of Las Vegas, Hannah Williams of Virginia; nieces, Erin, Ericka and Glenn of New Jersey, Nyarko of Atlanta, GA; nephew, Mawusi of Ghana, Africa; a host of cousins.
