Laura and Joe Warriner founded Untitled Artspace in 1995 Since then we have evolved into an all encompassing art center in the Deep Deuce district of downtown Oklahoma City Rebranded as ARTSPACE at Untitled we continue to provide free programming such as live music visiting artists talks quality exhibitions film screenings and related community discussions ARTSPACE has served our local residents for over 20 years Our board and staff continue to spark curiosity by providing educational opportunities through diverse programming in the arts COMMUNITY SPACE THE SPACE POSITIONED IN THE HEART OF DEEP DEUCE PROGRAMMING SPECIAL EVENTS OUR STREET YOUR SPACE ARTSPACE at Untitled is a venue designed for all Our space is YOUR SPACE A new addition is Joe s Space a public garden featuring rotating sculpture exhibitions LEARNING SPACE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM ARTSPACE s Mentorship Program started in 2011 with 12 students We have expanded the program to over 130 students a year impacting hundreds of lives since its inception The Mentorship Program helps empower our students to experiment with various art disciplines through collaboration with artists mentors and educators Returning students are offered independent studies to investigate new mediums they are interested in pursuing We also provide partnerships with artistic institutions to expose our students to professional practices and visit local galleries and museums yearly Our students are welcome to work in our creative incubator outside of class and the entire experience is at no cost to them or the participating schools Since the Mentorship Program is free to students ARTSPACE can only continue with private and public support With a lifetime of teaching art this is one of the most exciting and authentic art programs it promotes and grows art from the heart PROGRAMS We are available for corporate organization events The indoor and outdoor spaces can be rented separately or together Postcard Perspectives Community Spirits Mentorship Exhibition Taste of Art Visiting Artist Mentorship Program For more information contact artspace 1ne3 org or call 405 815 9995 Exquisite Corpse SHOW SPACE Exhibitions Roots Ties Artist Residencies EVENTS FESTIVALS Steamroller Festival Creative Market HIVE Trunk Shows Workshops Classes Function Design AIR Our Artist in Residence program AIR consists of four local residencies and two to four national international residencies per year We provide our AIR attendants with studio space materials and a place to live Each artist works with our Mentorship Program students by providing demos lectures and professional expertise Additionally they give artist talks at no cost to the public and allow our interns the opportunity to assist them and gain hands on experience ARTSPACE at Untitled asks for support to highlight these innovative voices in our community that will undoubtedly promote dialogue enrichment and exposure to current topics INTERNSHIPS This summer ARTSPACE had over ten high school students and nine university students engaging with staff daily on a wide range of projects 2 EXHIBITIONS MISSION ACADEMY TEACHER We offer internships in printmaking design marketing advertising photography archival database and arts administration This symbiotic relationship allows our interns to experience the business side of the arts first hand and provides them access to studio space education and life lasting professional contacts This is how we serve our community A center that is free and open to the public GALLERIES ARTSPACE at Untitled has 7 000 square feet of exhibition space to display various art forms The Main Gallery has featured artists such as Jes s Moroles William T Wiley Jasper Johns Robert Rauchenberg Petah Coyne Kiki Smith William Christenberry and Kahn Selesnick The Press Gallery is a space created to exhibit works made by the AIR participants and introduces young visual artists to the community We believe that all great talent must begin somewhere and we are happy to assist in the artist s journey to success 3
