Police Station Building Project - the new Kitty Hawk Police Station isexpected to be completed in June of 2025. The renovation has been anall-cash project. It exemplifies the Town’s commitment to Public Safety.Multi-Use Path - The Town’s partnership with NCDOT for a multi-usepath along the westside of HWY 158 is planned to begin in the Fall of2025. The Town’s portion of this project is $1,440,000Personnel - This budget approves a 3% cost-of-living increase and aone-step increase for all employees. The Town will continue it’s meritpay program and continue to offer training and developmentopportunities as well as a competitive benefits package.Community Engagement - The Town’s Community Engagment effortshave been received extremly well. This budget builds on our program,identifying additional ways for the Town to engage with our community.Ocean Rescue - The Town Council has decided to place an additional Ocean RescueStand on the beach south of Bleriot Street.
