(The credit appears ontax bills for the following year.) Lincoln’s estimated FY26 percentage is 2.17%, adecrease of 24% compared to FY25. Dependingon individual changes in income and propertyvalue, we estimate a decrease of around 20% innet tax for households who qualify for thisprogram. The District isresponsible for the education of all Lincolnstudents PreK-12 and employs 25 (17.9 FTE)dedicated staff (14 part-time and 11 full-time).PRE-KThe District oversees the UniversalPre-K program where students areeligible to receive up to 10 hours ofinstruction through our partnerprograms including the LincolnCooperative Preschool and otherarea preschools.K-6 (LCS)Our K-6 students attend LincolnCommunity School whichprovides educationalprogramming for 81 students. The District maintains all LCSfacilities and property.GR 7-12 (TUITION/CHOICE)All students in grades 7-12 mayaccess their education through atuition/choice program. Themajority of students attend MountAbe MS/HS with some studentsattending other public orapproved independent schools. The Lincoln School District is led by a small districtoffice that oversees all regularatory tasks requiredof each supervisory district in VT. The District officeincludes 5 employees (two full-time and threepart-time) for a total of 2.9 FTE, who serve multipleroles that in other districts would typically be filledby separate positions.
