Since 1919, Assistance League® of Los Angeles hasmobilized tens of thousands of member volunteersto raise funds and provide critical need services tochildren and young adults experiencinghomelessness, foster care, and extreme poverty. ABOUT THE LEAGUEToday the League helps more than 22,000 childrenevery year through our five programs that provideclothing, blankets, grooming products, books, schoolsupplies, arts enrichment, and education opportunities.Our programs bring hope, joy, self-esteem, andincreased scholastic engagement to the children andyoung adults we serve.
Our ImpactEach year, Assistance League® of Los Angeles helps more than 22,000children and young adults in Los Angeles through our five programs.FOSTER CHILDREN’S RESOURCE CENTERProvides foster children with new clothing, backpacks, school supplies, and somuch more!OPERATION SCHOOL BELLProvides elementary school students experiencing poverty with new play clothes,backpacks, school supplies, toys, and so much more!COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Funds homeless youth from LAUSD to make their college dream come true!THEATRE FOR CHILDRENPresents elementary school children from underserved communities to experiencethe magic of live stage productions performed by our Nine O'Clock Players Auxiliary. PRESCHOOL LEARNING CENTEROur nationally-accredited preschool teaches social and academic skills to childrenages 3-5 years old from low-income families.

Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028Volunteers of all ages will help sort, organize, andpackage new school supplies donated through ourmonth-long drive. Volunteers will also createencouragement cards for children in need.
