NEWS FROM THE CHURCHES Shoals, Hugo- is holding a Youth Rally Saturday, August 9th at 6:00 p.m. with pizza being served at 5:30 p.m. The guest speaker is Nub Brown, Student and Associate Pastor at Pine Street Baptist Church of Winnsboro, Texas. Praise and Worship will be led by the band Ekhos of Lawton, Oklahoma. Door prizes will be given away. Trinity, Idabel- will be hosting the Oklahoma Baptist Youth Evangelism Conference on Saturday, August 16th from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Check-in begins at 8:45 a.m. This year’s theme is Synergy, reminding attendees of the strength found in unity for advancing the Gospel. To find more information and to register, visit: oklahomabaptists.org/leadership-registration As a reminder, Annual Church Profiles are due September 10th. If your church has not received their form or if you have any questions, please contact the Frisco Association office at (580)326-9625. KBA IMPACT It is still not too late to participate in the KBA Impact Father’s Day Offering!!! We are asking all our churches across SE Oklahoma to send in their money by August 14th so we can evaluate our progress towards our goal. We are currently at $611,525 dollars given towards our $900,000 dollar goal. Frisco Baptist Association and our churches have contributed $338,444.65 towards the amount collected so far with 27 of our 48 churches participating. No amount is too small as we work together in making an impact for generations to come. All I can say is WOW! God has worked within the hearts of our people and understand the impact that KBA has on the next generation of young people as we share the gospel message in reaching them for Jesus Christ. In His Service, Bro. Mark The Frisco Association cabin hosted a total of 165 campers, sponsors and cooks for both weeks at Kiamichi Baptist Assembly in July. Youth Week II – Total Campers 765 – Salvations 23; Other 3 Children’s Week II – Total Campers 629 – Salvations 68; Rededications 18; Other 9
