NEWS FROM THE CHURCHES FBC Antlers – is hosting their 18th Annual Paper Doll Brunch on Saturday, May 31st from 10AM – 1PM. Proceeds will be used to assist the Madill Girl’s Home in purchasing necessities for the girls living there. While the food will be furnished, volunteers are requested to decorate tables for 6-8 people. Please contact the church at 580-298-3374 by May 19th for table reservations. There will be a silent auction and a donation of $10.00 per person is suggested, which will go directly to Madill Girls Home. Custom Music & Media https://vbs.lifeway.com/#why-lifeway-vbs WMU Spring Banquet We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to First Baptist Church of Hugo for graciously hosting the WMU Spring Banquet on March 25th. The event was a wonderful success, with 121 attendees coming together to enjoy an evening of delicious food and warm fellowship. We truly appreciate the hospitality and support shown by the church and its members, making the evening a memorable experience for all who attended. A special thank you also goes t to Jaime O’Bannon of FBC, Valliant for providing beautiful music and to our speaker, Susan Hill from Leflore Baptist Association for her inspiring message. Since the turn of the millennium, we have seen a total attendance of 206,053 young people pass through our KBA campground with total decisions numbering 25,059 and out of that number 12,354 were for receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We are the largest youth encampment in Oklahoma that is owned and operated by a partnership of local Southern Baptist Associations. Our five SE Oklahoma associations: Frisco; Atoka/Coal; Pittsburgh, San Bois, & LeFlore have joined together in a capital campaign called KBA IMPACT: Changing Lives. We have set a campaign goal of $900,000 dollars for this project. There are approximately 200 churches in our five associations, and we are asking all our churches across SE Oklahoma to prayerfully consider setting a goal for the 2025 Father’s Day KBA offering that will take place in June to get our campaign kicked off. Very soon you will be receiving in the mail our KBA IMPACT posters, a letter of explanation, and a template for a bulletin insert. You can also visit www.kbaimpact.com to download the media at any time. We will be calling our churches in Frisco Baptist Association to ask how many bulletin inserts you would like for us to make and send to you for this special offering.
