GGLORIA’S IRLSTALK LESSONS FROM HER... “Oma taught me to be independent and to always beyourself. She also taught me to care for others”. ~Jada“Mommy taught me to be mature. Its okat to have fun butyou need to take care of your business first. She alwayssays, ‘Morgan control your anger, Morgan!’ LOL! This iswhy I always strive to be kind and the bigger person indifficult situations”. ~Morgan“Over the years, Mommy has constantly reminded me, ‘You are XYZ years old, Diana’! LOL! This why I’mresponsible and handling business as a woman and amother. She also taught me to care about what mattersmost to me in life”. ~Diana“There are many things I’ve learned from my mom, butthe most important quality she has instilled in me is to beselfless. She has shown me that it is important to makepeople feel special and cared for anytime they are in mypresence”.~ Cassie”
“Before, I didn’t document things likethis. But when my mom was in thehospital, Cassie and I sat with her andlistened to all the beautiful stories fromher childhood. Having those recordingsand those memories is so special to me.Every time I listen to that recording, Ipicture the three of us there. Threegenerations of beautiful women. Youknow? It’s a wonderful memory. I have lots of memories with my familyand my daughters that I cherish. Myfavorites are when my girls would be alldressed up, like for Aunt Dellie’swedding. They were all in their ivorywith baby’s breath in their hair. I love the memory of getting togetherevery Sunday at my Mother in Law’s andthe infamous cookouts at my dad’s . Iguess that’s why we cook a lot at ourhouse. That’s when I’m most at peacewhen I’m with family, eating andlaughing, talking about the past”. EMORIESM

Wewant to go to Alaska and Hawaii. And this journey isn’t just abouttravel; it’s about a rediscovery ofself-love and my love for myhusband. As we embark on thisadventure, the focus is onprioritizing my personal wellbeing, ensuring a future where 09we can simply revel in our loveand live our best lives withoutthe concerns of physicalhealth. That’s why I’m so big onhealth; I don’t want us to have totake care of each other in thatway. “Don’t be so serious“!Now that I’m retired, the raising of the kids is all done, I’m goingto make it my business to give back more, particulary to youngwomen and young mothers. Many haven’t experienced thewarmth of a loving, two-parent household, and I aim to give themthat love and guidance that may not have been received at home. To young women and mothers, my advice is simple--enjoy yourtime with your kids, don’t be so serious about everything. Rulesand expectations matter, but so does savoring moments together, and that’s what it is all about. Learn from your parents; they’vepave the way and offer valuable guidance. Transitioning from Mommy to just Gloria hasn’t been difficult; it’sall about finding balance. I want to share with other youngwomen how to find that balance. I want to share my experiences, teach young women about entrepreneurship, and help those whomay be interested in event planning. I feel that the mostimportant thing a mother can do is show their children how todream, how to build those dreams into something , and how toleave a lasting legacy. 10GIVING BACKADVICE FOR YOUNGWOMEN AND MOTHERS
