Consider yourself invitedto the France - Fashion study abroad program, anadventure of a lifetime to study the history, culture,art, and future of the fashion world. We will meet current leaders in the fashion world,and study the works of designers such as Dior,Pierre Cardin, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent andothers. We will tour designer workspaces and gaina deeper understanding of how and why thebusiness side of design must also be successful aswell as the future of fashion and study trends ofwhat is next.By walking the grand boulevards of Paris to see allthe famous fashion retailers and visiting theirshowrooms, you will better understand therelationships between the creation of fashion andthe business side of fashion. Visits to the fashionmuseums will help you learn about design overtime and its impact. In addition, we will visit twofashion colleges that feature fashion design andwork placement opportunities that you will wantto explore.
