The registration form will be sentto them the month before the beginning of their stay. 1st semester : students will need to book a physical appointment with the students registration office.2nd semester : students will need to send all their documents to the international office. The documents needed are: Registration form (printed copy for the physical appointment only)Admission letter (uploaded online)ID card (EU students only) or passeport (uploaded online)Once their UGA registration completed, students will receive their UGA credentials and student card. AUGUST1DECEMBER2KEY DATES FOR STUDENTSStudents should NOT book their flights or incur expenses BEFORE receiving the confirmation of their admission/theadmission letter containing the official dates for their mobility. The UGA would not be held responsible for any loss in case of refusal. Late arrival are not permitted.In May, ISSO (International Students & Scholars Office) will be setting up online information sessions to help with theapplication process. Attendance is highly recommended!The detailed program will be available on the UGA's international portal.Accepted students will receive an e-mail in June, with login details to access the online accommodation platform.All applications will all be processed at the same time at the end of June. For any specific questions on housing, please do not hesitate to contact the ISSO Student Accommodation Departmentat: studenthousing@univ-grenoble-alpes.frNominated students will automatically receive an email with their nomination ID and application instructions. They will need to provide :a language certificate or a letter from their home university confirming they acheived B2 level in French.a provisionnal course choice according to our faculty rules (or Learning agreement)an identity photo (for their student card)a cover letter (in French)a CV (in French)all academic transcripts of records (translated in French) The notifications of decision along with the admission letters will be sent until June 15 (1st semester) andNovember 15 (second semester.) APPLICATION PROCESSFRENCH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE COURSESUGA offers French courses to exchange students. These courses are free and are worth 3 credits (ECTS).Students will directly receive an email to take a level positionning test and register. First semester students : we highly recommend to enrol to the intensive course during the last week of August !UGA REGISTRATION

COURSE CHOICE ANDMODULES ENROLLMENTDates and procedures might vary from one school to another. Information is given at the welcome meeting about pre-enrollment forsports, foreign languages or the SoCLE faculty specific modules for exchange students. UGA COURSE CATALOGUE FOR EXCHANGE STUDENTSCOURSE CHOICEExchange students must provide a provisionnal course choice with their application. This programme will have to be confirmed at the beginning of their stay, according to the timetables and modulesavailability. A full semester is 30 ECTS (about 8 modules.) The LLASIC school offers a wide range of teaching in the fields of French Literature, French Linguistics (including secondlanguage acquisition and Teaching French as a Foreign Language), Information and Communication, Journalism andPerforming Arts (Theatre and Cinema) and most of them are available to exchange students. We also offer specificcourses for exchange students on the fields of French language and culture each semester.Please refer to our pedagogical booklet for more information on our programmes and course selection. Exchange students are allowed to choose up to 2 modules in another UGA faculty as well as 2 extra modules such assports, foreign languages or cross-disciplinary modules per semester. This flexibility allows them to take the coursesthey need in order to validate their year or semester at UGA.The first week of classes does not require any formal modules enrollment and allows students to test differentoptions and finalise their timetable. SEPTEMBER, SECOND WEEK OF CLASSES1JANUARY, SECOND WEEK OF CLASSES2MODULES ENROLLMENTModules enrollment is an important time at the beginning of the mobility!We provide on-demand personnal course guidance (face to face or online) during the orientation week and stronglyencourage students to cease that opportunity.The enrollment itself has two different phases, online and physical :online enrollment will be possible for units inside the choosen specialty course and cross-disciplinary modules. the physical appointment will allow students to add optionnal modules inside or outside the faculty (according toseats availability) and confirm the learning agreement. No changes will be allowed after the enrollment period.
