NATURIST ETHOS & NATURIST QUESTIONS EveryBody is a clothes-free event and nudity is permitted 24/7 and encouraged. This page is particularly aimed at new or first time Naturists Really, do I have to be naked? Ultimately, we want everyone to be happy and EveryBody is the perfect way for people to try out social nudity for the first time. We understand that not everyone is confident as one another and everyone’s decision will be respected. The fact is the more people who embrace it, the more it encourages others to go for it. We hope the spirit of the EveryBody Festival and (hopefully) the weather will allow for the perfect setting for inhibitions to be shed. Ultimately, common sense prevails - if it’s cold put clothes on, if it’s hot -take them off! The only time where nudity is obligatory is at Splashdown Waterpark on Saturday night. Nobody wants to see me naked! Actually, no one is looking at your body; in fact, newbies tend to avoid looking as if their lives depend on it! This is about YOU as a person, which is not defined by what you look like, because that’s the point! Naturism is one of the best ways to become more confident! Equally, you should never be ashamed to let people know how confident you are about yourself! What we do is safe, legal, and healthy; there is no need to “admit” to naturism! EveryBody instills the true values of body acceptance and shows us that nakedness is nothing to be ashamed of and is in the truest sense natural. Body conscious? Being nude with others is not embarrassing. First-timers often remark how quickly they feel comfortable wearing nothing and seeing others unclothed – in fact, it’s easy to forget that everyone is naked…and just because they are, doesn’t make for a sexually-charged atmosphere either. I’ve never tried Naturism before! That’s not a problem. We understand that your visit to EveryBody could be your first Naturist experience. There is no pressure to undress so it’s a great way to try. Many people have been apprehensive undressing on their first time, but once they’ve done it wonder what the big problem was in the first place! What do I sit on? EveryBody etiquette requires a towel, sarong or garment to be sat on at all times - it’s the

Page 8

naturist way... On your period? You are not alone and there are several ways to make your EveryBody experience more comfortable. Ultimately it is down to personal preference some ladies preferring to wear bottoms others only using products. Either way it’s about your personal comfort. You won’t be judged. ‘Standing out’ as a male... The most frequently asked question posed by men! Honestly, it very rarely happens, a naturist environment is not one that is sexually charged. If nature does take its course then take a break, sit down and relax - ultimately be discreet.

EveryBody Photo Policy We are very aware of the sensitivity around photography at naked events. Photography is an essential part of all events - it's how we document what happens and it's what we need to promote future events. Here is a little more on our photographic policies. On arrival you will be given info on how it all works with examples of the images we take. Personal Photography There is strictly no personal photography in public spaces and general photography of activities is prohibited. • Private, personal photography is restricted to your pitch or the designated photo area called the Photo Deck. The Photo Deck is a space where you can go and snap away to your hearts content. It is clearly marked with a sign and has a beautiful woodland background. Official Photographer An approved EveryBody photographer will be present and will be introduced to all at the welcome gathering. You have lots of choice on how you appear in any photographs. (Please note if you are already familiar with the British Naturism system then this is different than usual) Your choices Open photography – Loud & Proud WHITE BAND - we can use images of you for ANY publicity or purpose. This is predominantly on the EveryBody website but could be anywhere including social media. These images could feature full nudity. General Photography – The Happy Band BLACK BAND – these images are more subtle and generally are group images and not of individuals. They would feature no full nudity however may feature breasts or rear shots. No photography – RED BAND - we will issue a red wristband and our photographer will avoid taking any deliberate photos. This means your face will not appear in any published images, however your body may do - essentially the key question asked during editing is - can this person be recognised? NO BAND – you have chosen NOT to opt out of photography so WHITE BAND permissions are assumed.

Page 10

Every measure is taken to avoid a person being in a picture however a red wristband is not a 100% foolproof way. It is also worth introducing yourself to the photographer and make sure they know your request. British Naturism accepts no liability for any errors around photography. Social Media We always need shots for use on social media, obviously due to the rules set by the networks, they cannot show nudity (god forbid anyone sees a nipple!). Many shots we use are where you cannot identify the person. We reserve the right to use images publicly where the model cannot be identified. Summary You have a choice to be identified in photos or not. You may only take your own photos on your pitch or on the designated photo deck. We are after wholesome shots of people having fun - nothing graphic or embarrassing. Photography is very important for the promotion of future events. You are who you are - be beautiful!
