It is my great honour to invite students from around the world to study at EurospeakLanguage School. My goal is for every student to feel welcome and to learn valuableskills that will take them far in life.When I took over the school in 2008, it had already been a pillar of the Readingcommunity since 1991. I was determined to make the school's success grow even more,so in 2018, we opened the Southampton branch. My vision for the school is, and alwayshas been, to create an open and welcoming atmosphere where students can bethemselves and get closer to their personal and professional goals. What makesEurospeak stand out is not only the high-quality educational content of the classes, butthe great people who are part of the community.The teachers and admin teams in both locations make the schools friendly and funplaces to be, and that is the culture I've tried to foster over the years. With such a greatmix of cultures, there is never a dull moment, from the engaging class activities to thefun social activities organised by the school. People at Eurospeak are encouraged toshare their cultures and accept others. Eurospeak Reading was founded in October 1991 by Mr. Michael O’Brien asa school of English as a Foreign Language (EFL). Initially offering eveningand Saturday classes for visitors and au pairs working with families in theReading area, the demand quickly grew, prompting us to expand ourschedule to include mornings and afternoons. To support this growth, weassembled a team of skilled teachers, enhancing our reputation for qualityeducation and engaging activities.Within four years, Eurospeak evolved into an international college,accommodating students who needed visas and developing a full-timeschedule of 15 hours or more of tuition weekly. By 1998, we became anational exam centre recognised by Cambridge University.In October 2018, we opened Eurospeak Southampton, our second UKlocation, in a historic building just a five-minute walk from the city centre.This vibrant campus continues our tradition of welcoming internationalstudents and providing excellent English language education.4SchoolHistory
