Ella’s Slow & Sweet LemonadeBy: Eagle Rock Kids Message
Ella’s Slow & Sweet LemonadeBy: Eagle Rock Kids
In the heart of Eagle Rock, Ella found a tiny lemon seed. “I’ll make lemonade by the weekend,” she smiled and said.
“Lemon trees take time,” Kai said while drawing. “Maybe more,” added Zoe, smiling gently.
Ella dug a hole, placed the seed, and whispered, “Slow and sweet wins the treat.”
Each day, she watered.
Each night, she waited.
Then—tiny sprouts! Ella laughed and clapped.
Weeks passed and the trees grew taller.
Then one morning--lemons!Golden. Round. Ready.
With Grandma’s help, Ella squeezed every drop. She added honey, a little water, and stirred with care.
Outside, she poured six cups — one for Grandma and onefor each friend. They sipped. They smiled.
And together, they said: “Slow and sweet wins the treat!” And the garden felt full.
