Dear reader This Enneagram exercise book is a valuable tool which can guide you along your spiritual journey helping you to grow and expand to your true nature The material is intended to support those who already have some understanding of the Enneagram and are most likely also familiar with their own personality type It will support these readers to go deeper by unraveling behavioural patterns and releasing blocks which may be preventing them from experiencing their full potential If you are unfamiliar with Enneagram and uncertain of your Enneagram type a great place to start is to take an Enneagram Personality Test This test along with other helpful information can be found at www youaremoreworld com The book opens with a foreword from the author as she addresses all those who share your type reminding you that you are not alone in the concerns which you experience In the following pages you will be guided to discover more about your type from the basis of the behavioral patterns which are common for your personality type exploring what you like what is important to you and also what is essential in order for you to maintain balance in your day to day life There are many thoughts which are valuable for you to bring awareness to which can help you to find greater connection with yourself The introductory Enneagram theory was left out of this book as there are many valuable and in depth sources where this can be explored The aim of this book is to bring a fresh perspective to Enneagram through working with habitual personality patterns discovering greater understanding of personality traits and releasing false stories through daily practices The resulting goal is to support you in your daily experiences and to guide you into the full integration of you with your wholeness Within this book you will find some daily practices from well know Enneagram teachers as well as practices which have been tailored specifically for your personality type By applying these practices daily you will experience the greatest benefit gaining a better understanding of yourself your preferences and your relationships Through this work on the exercises you will experience the freedom which has always been a part of you increasing your self esteem and unraveling your unique gifts and strengths This book offers you the path to the truth which will free you to your wholeness 3

How to use this book This book is made up of four parts Discovering Myself Revealing Myself Accepting Myself and Healing Myself Although it can be tempting to skip ahead we recommend using this book in the order in which it is laid out as each chapter can provide a greater depth of understanding and when followed as recommended has the potential to create powerful changes in your life

Chapter 1 Discovering Myself This chapter explores many aspects of your dominant type bringing you greater awareness of your personal traits This exploration allows you to determine if this is truly your dominant type and to see yourself from an open and understanding perspective to better understand the basis of this dominant Enneagram type You will also learn to recognize your personal traits your gifts and the challenges you face related to having this dominant type Chapter 2 Revealing Myself This chapter leads you through 40 exercises which have been created specifically for your dominant type These exercises will expand your understanding of situations you face and also awaken a deeper connection with yourself through awareness of your daily behaviors It is very important that you complete each of the exercises as they each have a meaningful message which can only be explored through personal experience You will find that there is also great value in writing your thoughts and observations as well as the feelings you experience as you go as this can develop a deeper connection within yourself Chapter 3 Accepting Myself This chapter will provide you with a greater sense of acceptance of who you are Having explored the dominant qualities of your Enneagram type and some of the repetitive situations you find yourself falling into you might begin to feel more aware of who you are in the present moment You may still feel some hesitation about some of your qualities but allowing yourself to practice acceptance of who you are in this moment will allow you to experience a greater sense of freedom of who you can be You will discover how you can apply this self acceptance to your own life Only when we accept the qualities we do not like about ourselves do we gain the freedom to choose how we really want to be Chapter 4 Healing Myself Each of us has many qualities that were formed in order to protect us As we grow and develop we begin to recognize some of them as qualities we do not really like but we feel powerless to change them First through our awareness we can notice them then through acceptance we bring them out of the shadows and finally through healing we can lovingly change and release them In this section you will find carefully selected practices that can help you to observe and connect with these qualities in greater depth which when practiced daily can cause a very big shift in your life 7

The Enneagram Type 6 LOYA LIST P eople of this type are responsible trustworthy hard working and good team players They are very finding security They believe that the world is a dangerous place to live security oriented and that it does not provide a stable analyzing all situations and attempting basis for them to survive comfortably to predict what the outcome could be Constant Loyalists have a very delicate sense concerns make the Loyalist look into of humor often doubting themselves different options that could guarantee and their surroundings Before taking the stability they are looking for This any action they either carefully think idea of stability could be found in about or another person by belonging to an alternatively they do the polar opposite organization by saving money or by and dive in without thinking not giving identifying with a particular set of much consideration to the possible values held by someone they trust It outcomes could be anything outside themselves committed all and T he driving force for this type is possible outcomes anxiety doubts and that can give an inner feeling of stability which ultimately results in security Your true nature Feel inner conviction and peace stand firmly on your own feet

You are safe People of your type shared some stories from their life When I had to communicate with people who were energetically stronger than me I always felt uncomfortable I was overwhelmed with fear unable to consider thoughts coherently or I would become reactive asking provocative questions Eventually I realized that all of these emotions were caused by my own inner insecurity and mistrust of others I became more aware of these unnecessarily defensive emotions and now when I find myself in such a situation they no longer define my response and I feel more comfortable My feelings and thoughts are no longer evoked by irrational fear Eric 44 In the past I had to consult with someone before making any decisions Usually I would need not one but at least two opinions Validation for my opinion from others was like confirmation that I was thinking in the right way If I received criticism or a different opinion I was often disappointed in myself and that had a big impact on my final decision Noticing this trait I began to develop self confidence trying to make my own decisions and believe in their value Doubts do occur still but I know my behavior pattern Decisionmaking is no longer as stressful as it used to be Jordie 35 30

I tend to listen to my intuition but sometimes the opinion of those around me knocks me off my true path Then I start to doubt my intuition and the questions arise what if yes but I remember when I had clearly decided inside myself that I wanted to study art When I shared the idea with others I got a lot of different opinions such as I ve heard that it s hard enough to find a job after studying I remember a friend who had graduated from the arts but had to finish a more practical profession It s a great choice but are you sure about your self determination More than once in my life I have made choices by listening to my heart and they have been the best choices in my life I believe in my heart I know the right decision so I try to trust it and dispel all the doubts Sylvia 41 I have always had difficulty communicating with managers and people superior to me in our office Being distrustful about their competence and values I often feel tension and disapproval when they give me instructions for which I do not see the reason Sometimes I seem to intentionally raise issues and questions to check how they deal with them When I noticed this trait I realized how much stress it was causing me and those around me I hope to find a way how to monitor my behavior Herman 26 I am a travel agent I noticed that the manager of my company started checking my work too often asking questions about the orders I made making comments on my work I was really worried because I was the only person in our team who received such exclusive attention I immediately came up with a number of reasons for why he was doing this and of course none of them were positive I decided to stop my inner dialogue and told my director about the situation and the fears I had about it I asked her to share her perspective on this situation and why our manager was taking such unusual actions After a while the director shared with me that the manager of the company didn t have any hidden intentions and the fears I had were unreasonable Once again I confirmed to myself the importance of expressing the doubts and fears that arise in me Sarah 32 31

You are safe Bringing awareness to yourself By becoming aware of your day to day behavior you gain the ability to respond to situations in the way that you truly want to Take a good look at the following recommendations which were created specifically for your type Expand your awareness by integrating them into your daily practices Notice when you experience thoughts running through your mind that life is fraught with dangers and uncertainties so you need to approach it with caution and limited expectations In moments like this practice being an observer who witnesses those thoughts but does not identify with them simply becoming aware of the cause of their existence When you are going through this experience remind yourself of a deeper truth of life I am safe and I am looked after I am a part of the bigger picture and I will never be left without any support I am free to be myself and I have faith that I can deal with whatever will come into my life Practice inner understanding that you are and will be strong enough to solve any current or future problems 36 Notice how much of your energy is spent on doubts and analyzing different situations Can you see for yourself what is really necessary Maybe you can see ways for how the time between contemplation and taking action could be shorter helping you to use this energy for activities you like or things that lead you to your personal goals This shift could help you to experience less stress in a day and build long lasting self confidence Observe the times when you start dramatizing situations in your own mind Notice strong emotions coming from within such as fear distrust excitement etc Simply witness them Try to find the source from where they are arising and without any judgment see what they are trying to tell you What are the benefits you see in them

Observe yourself when you complain about work or family to others rather than sharing your discontent with the people involved directly Ask yourself the following question Have I ever sincerely told those who I am complaining about how I really feel directly Practice inner trust There are no mistakes in this world and even if they do exist it is better to experience them from your own decisions as they give you wisdom and growth Trust yourself trust your inner wisdom You are much wiser than you think you are When you notice yourself doubting pause for a moment to observe whether this feeling is coming from real possible danger or a hidden fear such as distrust Practice uncovering differences between when you are behaving the way you really want to and when you are trying to please others By acting the way others expect you to you create a false sense of security and recognition Realize that external security is fickle and unreliable By acting as you think others want you are not fulfilling your true desires and betraying yourself Practice accepting your fear of being left without support and an external source of security Feel with your own body and heart that you are a true and inexhaustible source of your security and faith Notice moments when you have a challenging situation in front of you and you start procrastinating waiting for someone to rescue you It is completely healthy to want to ask for help from others but be mindful of those moments when it becomes an obstacle from taking real action In moments like this bring your own support to yourself embrace your self confidence and have faith in your own decisions No one is better than you to make a better decision for the situation that is right in front of you Take some time to integrate into your life some practices that help you to praise and appreciate yourself for the things you feel proud of Maybe it could be some small daily action that supports your true self Allow yourself to praise yourself without waiting for the approval of others Support yourself by celebrating your existence Try to notice when you have reached your limits and feel tired or in a bad mood you become especially irritable intolerant of yourself and Notice when you feel stressed and tired from the abundance of work and responsibilities Practice sharing tasks with other people others Learn to integrate more recreation into your days which will help you to bring yourself back to balance

1 Take some time today to observe how many times in a day you complain to others speak behind someone s back or just put your focus on negative self inner talk Think about how it might affect others those with whom you share your moments as well as yourself Bring awareness and ask yourself what causes you to have these thoughts What underlying needs are you trying to protect or meet What support could you offer yourself when you notice your mind leading to negativity or the tendency to complain Notice how your impulsive response to situations sometimes has only a one sided perspective the negative aspect of it which causes you always to feel worried and stressed Practice bringing a balanced approach where you can consciously consider the positive aspects of the same situation as they both have equal potential Write your notes here 44

Accepting myself There is no greater gift that we can give ourselves than that of true acceptance of who we are seeing our whole self with an open heart This allows us a sense of curiosity and braveness to see our faults as well as our gifts without casting judgment on them simply able to observe ourselves as we are It is in these moments that we are able to feel the truth of our existence arising understanding that who we are now has a long history Through our lives we are touched by each of our experiences which forms the understanding we have of the world and shapes the unique expression we bring to the world Each of these qualities those that form the uniqueness we bring to the world was born with a purpose of supporting us during a specific period of our life however we often resist these qualities Perhaps this resistance is because we want to be different or because those in our surroundings don t approve of these qualities Whatever the reason we all respond to these unwanted qualities in the same way we abandon them ignoring them as though they are not a part of us until they become our shadows limiting us and preventing us from living the best life we are truly meant to live The first step on the journey of our own healing is to accept that there is nothing wrong with the qualities we have which we consider as negative they all have a purpose to serve As we move through different periods of our lives we require different qualities and these eventually form the bigger picture of who we are so our only task for now is to accept this variety of qualities without judgment 93
