The storyF. Engel is a family-owned textile group which benets from being able to draw on its stock of proud traditions, especially when they are used to take the company forward and create new ideas on the basis of historical quality requirements. F. Engel has grown steadily since it was rst established, and today enjoys a strong position with three divisions:ENGEL Workwear, Sunwill men’s trousers as well as Deerhunter hunting apparel. What all three share is the emphasis that has been placed on strengthening design and development in order to continually improve t and functionality.OWN PRODUCTION IN LITHUANIAThe company ENGEL-Dali has two factories in Lithuania which are equipped with the latest tech-nology, ensuring both high quality standards and exible deliveries. Daily contact between Denmark and Lithuania optimises workow, resulting in dynamic cooperation because the large team of skilled workers is a natural part of the “family”. The close location also means increased exibility – the transport time between Lithuania and our base in Haderslev in Jutland is only 48 hours.QUALITY ASSURANCEAll our products – both the ones we produce ourselves in Lithuania and those manufactured in the Far East – are always subjected to double quality checks. First the garment is checked at the factory by professional inspectors, and then random checks are conducted at the warehouse in Haderslev. F. Engel is also a member of the European Standards Organisation for Workwear, which ensures that we are always up to date with respect to the latest workwear and safety wear requirements.THE ENGEL FAMILYhas played a key role in the companyever since 1927. Quality controlWorkwear needs to withstand everything - from daily wear and tear to working in challenging weather conditions. It's not enough that the fabric is strong, it's just as important that the fabric retains its colour, and that the stitching, buttons, zippers and nish are exceptionally durable. Before we send our clothes to production, we subject them to rip, pull, wear, colour and washing tests. We have people in our factories performing quality checks during production, and we spot test every item we receive in our warehouse.TEST TEAMSBefore a new collection or new product is sent to production, it is also tested out in the real world. The clothing is of course tested by the relevant trade group. Our teams of test people give us feedback during and after the test period. The feedback is most often both positive and negative critique and it gives the design department the opportunity to adjust the models before being sent to production.INTRO10QUALITY CONTROL

Turn on the powerbank by pressing the ON/OFF button on the side. After acti- vated, place the powerbank in the lower inner pocket.To activate the heat function press and hold the power button inside the chest pocket until the light turns on. Choose one of following temperatures:Red light - high temperature 55 °C Green light – medium temperature 45 °C Blue light – low temperature 38 °CTo turn o the heat function press and hold the power button inside the chest pocket for 3 seconds or until the lightturn o. The ON/OFF button on the powerbank will then automatically turn o after approximately 1 minute. SafetyEN ISO 20471Is used, for example, in road construction, when working on road beds and on building sites when the visibility of people is important. ENGEL Safety products are certied in accordance with the ”clearly visible warning clothing” specications according to EN ISO 20471. EN ISO 20471 is a European standard with requirements for warning clothing, which must make the wearer visible in dangerous situations in daylight, in the head-lights of vehicles and in the dark. Functional requirements for colour and retro-reection and minimum surface areas, distribution and placing of the reective materials are also part of the standard.The classication in accordance with three classes is based the surface area of the uorescent material and the reecting ma-terial. Class 3 clothing products have the highest visibility and Class 1 clothing the lowest. Whether Class 1 clothing, 2 or 3 products for safeguarding a person should be used ultimately depends on the area of use.Visibility conditions on-site are special criteria to be consid-ered here. A risk analysis of the various risk groups must be performed for this. With varying work assignments or in the event of doubts, it is recommended Class 3 clothing clothing be worn.PICTOGRAMThe clothing carries a new pictogram. The pictogram shows the class that the clothing is tested and certied for in accord-ance with EN ISO 20471.RESPONSIBILITY AND CONTROLCompliance with the standards is controlled by ocial authorities.
