INVESTIGATONS:
1. 06-10-2019 / 0435hrs / Ai52-6206 / ATTEMPTED ROBBERY / BURGLARY:
Patrol and ultimately detectives were dispatched to Campus Drive for the report of a
robbery in which two males entered KVK Tech took control of the security guard,
threatened to shoot and took her radio. Detectives arrived, processed the scene and
the investigation is on-going.
2. 06-12-2019 / Time / Ai52-6208 / UNATTENDED DEATH:
Home health care nurse arrived as scheduled to find Gerald White (75yoa) male
deceased inside his home at 166 Twining Bridge Road. Detectives arrived,
processed the scene and the death was deemed natural causes.
3. 06-12-2019 / 1757hrs / Ai52-6209 / RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY:
Patrol was dispatched to the 200 block of Upper Silverlake Road for the report of a
residential burglary. Patrol arrived and found there was no-force but confirmed the
reports. Detectives arrived, processed the scene and the investigation is on-going.
CRIMINAL ARRESTS:
1. 06-06-2019 / CA52-6494 / DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:
Patrol investigation of vehicle code violation(s) on the Newtown Bypass near
Campus Drive resulted in the arrest of Miriam Kornacki (63yof) of Yardley for the
Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (BAC: 0.148%).
2. 06-16-2019 / CA52W-440 / DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:
Patrol investigation of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Wrightstown Health &
Fitness located at 650 Durham Road led to the arrest of Teresa Kauffman (58yof) of
Wrightstown for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol & Drugs after striking the
police vehicle while attempting to leave.
3. 06-21-2019 / CA52-6495 / BANK FRAUD:
Patrol assisted by Detectives invested a bank fraud in progress at the TD Bank
located at 90 Upper Silver Lake Road that led to the arrest of Carlos Bencosme
(22yom) of the Bronx (NY) for such crimes. He was sent to the Bucks County
Correctional Facility in lieu of $40,000 bail.
4. 06-29-2019 / CA52-6496 / DOMESTIC ASSAULT:
Patrol investigation of a disturbance in the 3500 building of Society Place led to the
arrest of Robert Ripley Jr (30yom) of Huntingdon Valley for aggravated assault. He
was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $175,000 bail.

MOTOR CARRIER ENFORCEMENT:
1. 06-05-2019 / 0630hrs-1230hrs:
The joint enforcement unit conducted a motor carrier detail at Lookout Park at 1575
River Road within Upper Makefield Township. As a result, the following are the
documented results:
- 11 Commercial Vehicles stopped.
- 04 Citations were issued for violations.
- 06 Warnings were issued for minor infractions.
- 02 Vehicle(s) placed out-of-service.
- 01 Driver(s) placed out-of-service.
2. 06-19-2019 / 0630-1230hrs:
The Newtown officers conducted a motor carrier detail on Durham Road at Fox Hill
Drive within Wrightstown Township. As a result, the following are the documented
results:
- 06 Commercial Vehicles stopped.
- 00 Citations were issued for violations.
- 02 Warnings were issued for minor infractions.
