The C.O.M.P.A.S.S. program aids in discerning ministry priorities, strengths, and future direction, promoting church effectiveness, conflict resolution, and growth through structured investigation of 7 keys areas of ministry. A course to introduce principles of brain science to impact discipleship, to build joy and quiet and to develop healthy, healing communities. OUTCOMES • Pastors’ salaries are paid on time. • Churches are built using only local funds from tithes and offerings. • Agricultural and economic development programs are developed benefiting villages and urban neighborhoods. • A new spirit of evangelism and outreach enables many new churches to be planted, even in predominantly Muslim areas • Parents are reconciled with their children, and marriages are restored. • Pastors and leaders preach sermons that are based on the Bible and point people to Jesus. It has been designed to activate missional thinking and habits of evangelism without the need for invitational or event-based programs. COURSE MODULES • Vocation: How do churches grow? Measuring growth, Vision and Values, Mapping, Barriers to Growth, Leading Change, Digital Growth • Formation: Biblical Discipleship, Small groups, Five Types of leaders, Growing leaders, Teams • Mission: Who are we inviting, Three steps to inviting, Digital Communications, From welcome to integration, Mission hospitality • Multiplication: Multiplication model, Leadership Pipeline, 5 Levels of Multiplication, Becoming a Kingdom Planting Church, planting small churches, Pioneering A comprehensive and in-depth engagement with the bible, examples of good practice including stories of evangelists to give an understanding of mission and evangelism. This becomes the base on which we then shape with the participant their unique way of evangelism. Modules include:What is evangelism? The process of evangelism, speaking and living in a world that is post Christian and post church, identifying and connecting with my people and place, prayer practices to use in a mission context, what is my evangelism language that is authentic to me, the person I am with and the Holy Spirit? The presence and power of God at work in mission, a how to, the imprint of mission, establishing faith in the context of a person’s culture rather than a church culture, People of peace. COURSE STRUCTURE The Grow Course is delivered using three modalities: Self-guided learning, coaching for the church leader and learning communities every three months. The course content is broken down into four modules. • Teaching comes in the form of a weekly podcast/video • Outside of community time each person is resourced to process the teaching through to the point of personal application. • Envoy communities meet weekly in four phases of six weeks (24 weeks). WHO IS IT FOR? The Grow Course is for all church leaders and their teams. Envoy is there to accompany those seriously committed to sharing Jesus with people in their own context. COURSE STRUCTURE The Grow Course is delivered using three modalities: Self-guided learning, coaching for the church leader and learning communities every three months. The course content is broken down into four modules. • Teaching comes in the form of a weekly podcast/video • Outside of community time each person is resourced to process the teaching through to the point of personal application. • Envoy communities meet weekly in four phases of six weeks (24 weeks). WHO IS IT FOR? The Grow Course is for all church leaders and their teams. Envoy is there to accompany those seriously committed to sharing Jesus with people in their own context.
