Words cannot express how much we miss Ed, and how deeply we are grieving. This next season of Ed’s life held so many exciting things that we could not wait to celebrate with him. As these weeks have passed, our minds constantly go back to what should have been. We imagine his laugh, his smile, and the twinkle in his eyes — how excited his voice would have been when he tells us the deals he had closed and what was coming up next. Our minds imagine the celebrations that would have ensued, and how much joy would have filled our homes. We are living a very different life than what we expected to be living, and it is so painful. We want to thank everyone for how well you loved Ed. He lived a life full of passion and was incredibly excited for what each day held. When you drink Jungle Tea, we hope joy will fill your heart and you will be inspired to do the things you love. He valued each and every one of you.Thank you for sharing your memories of Ed— no matter how small they seem. Hearing his name and the impact he had helps our hearts heal. Finally, thank you for your prayers, your presence, and your words of encouragement. It has made an impossible situation just a little bit more bearable.— The Paje FamilyEdward Paje. The love of my life. We met about 6 years ago in Los Angeles by fate. I knew right away this would be the start of something beautiful but I had no idea just how much of a difference this man would’ve made in my life. Our relationship was so full. Full of unconditional love and support, full of never ending fun, full of kindness, full of respect, full of deep and meaningful conversations, and full of growth in every aspect — mind, body, and soul. Loving him was effortless. July 10th, 2022 would have been the day he asked me the most important question of his life in Blackberry Farm’s wine cellar. There are absolutely no words to express the pain and loss I feel everyday without him by my side. That being said, I want to thank you for sharing all your wonderful memories of Ed. It’s been incredibly healing to hear his name and feel the light that he shone onto your hearts — Ed will remain a beacon of light for us all which we’ll be forever bonded by. Thank you for celebrating his life with us.Love Always,DianaNOTES FROMThe Paje Family and Diana

6/22/16 — HIS THOUGHTS ON THE BEGINNING OF HIS SPIRITUAL JOURNEY IN PERU I want to activate the parts of my brain that creates a greater appreciation for others. Spreading love and compassion in this world is truly important, but I’m not sure I fully grasp that concept yet. I do know, however, that I can show my love for my family, friends, colleagues and strangers more love and value.I’m ready to fully surrender and embrace this existence. Hasta Luego.3/2/21 I will always be going through times of change and challenges throughout my life. I will stumble and lose perspective and fall short of the glory of God. But ultimately, it’s the changes I have daily to recognize my gifts and opportunities I have on this Earth — and it cannot be wasted nor squandered. I truly believe God has a plan for me beyond my wildest expectations, but I must do my part.I love myself. We must gamble it all for love. — Ed3/23/21 — AN ENTRY FROM HIS GRATITUDE JOURNALI am grateful I’m exposed to crisis. A man and leader is not judged by how he deals with success, but in fact how he deals with adversity and challenges. Remember Nelson (Mandela) and Marcus (Aurelius) in your time of trial.4/21/21 — ON HIS READINGS ABOUT ROBERT MONDAVI, AN AMERICAN WINEMAKERRobert Mondavi’s story is so inspirational. He was able to take a very low moment in his life - his split from Charles Krug, and turn it into creating a real name for himself. First and foremost, his love of product was exceptional. He cared about even the smallest detail and gained inspiration from the winemakers in Europe. His persistence was relentless. But what struck me first was his integrity. The Mondavi’s word was “as good as gold” and people trusted his name, and therefore, brand. I’m grateful for men like Robert Mondavi, because I can relate to them on so many levels. His path, his relationships, and tips are all so inspirational. HIS WORDS TO THE JUNGLE TEA INTERNS MATTHEW VO AND BRANDON DAVIS• I’m convinced now more than ever that hard work is the only way to succeed.• Roadblocks in life are opportunities for us to overcome.• Focus on learning and you’ll have better perspective to add to the team when you return.EXCERPTS FROMEd’s Journal and Writings6/22/22 — HIS LAST ENTRY FROM HIS GRATITUDE JOURNAL• 11/10 Amazing future wife• Loving parents who just am so proud and incredible human beings• Siblings who are just so loving and supportive
