Message EMERALD ASH BORER [EAB]What is EAB?Emerald Ash Borer is an invasive beetlethat kills ash trees. The infestationusually begins in the tree’s canopy andspreads down the tree. Your trees canbe infected for a few years beforeshowing signs of EAB. After showingsigns of EAB the tree will only live for afew more years, if you do not treat yourtree. Do nothing - eventually your tree willbecome infected. Your tree canbecome a hazard as it weakens fromthe inside out, being more susceptibleto breaking leads, and a danger onyour property. This may becomeexpensive if the tree is unstable or if itbecomes a storm damage situation.Cut down your tree & consider plantinga new tree, that is a different species.Cutting your tree down before it showssigns of infection is safest and mostcost effective. It is important to handleyour Ash Tree before it becomes ahazard.Treat your tree - we have had greatsuccess with preventative injectiontreatments. These treatments are doneevery 2 years.
