What is DVa Rehabilitation?At Recovery Partners our DVA rehabilitation services help you to adjust to lifeafter service. We begin the process by assessing your individual needs. Who is eligible?If you have an injury or condition that has been accepted as related to yourservice under either the: Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004 (MRCA);Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Defence-related claims) Act1988 (DRCA). You may also be eligible if you don’t have a condition that has been acceptedyet, but are currently receiving the Veteran Payment. When can you get a plan?If you are still serving, your rehabilitation will be organised by Defence throughthe Australian Defence Force Rehabilitation Program (ADFRP). If you are no longer with Defence, you can still access a rehabilitation programthrough them. If you are currently going through the separation process, youshould consider starting DVA rehabilitation before discharging. There is no time limitation to request a rehabilitation plan after you haveserved and if your circumstance have changed, you are able to request a newplan. 1300 647 789admin@rrp.com.au

rehabilatation processYour rehabilitation consultant will not only guide you through the process butwork with you to achieve your goals. Your consultant will monitor your progressand compliance of your plan. Rehabilitation Consultant You will be assigned a qualified consultant that will be your main point of contactthroughout the rehabilitation process. Your consultant will:Conduct a rehabilitation assessment;Develop your rehabilitation plan;Find a health provider (if required);Find activities to help you achieve your goals; Assess your medical status and identify any potential barriers; Track your progress.You also need to contact your consultant if: You are unable to attend an appointment that they made for you; Your ability to participate in rehabilitation changes. 1300 647 789admin@rrp.com.au

Other OptionsIf you aren’t eligible for a rehabilitation plan, there are other ways we may beable to assist you. If you served after 1 December 1988, and you don’t have any acceptedservice-related injuries or conditions, you can opt to take part in Non-LiabilityRehabilitation (NLR).
