FAQs How do I find a KTC participating facility? Go to KnowTheCosts.com and submit the contact form. Toarrange imaging, we need the physician's order along with yourCity and State. Once we locate a facility for your exam, you will be notified bytext or email.What if I want to use a different facility?What if I don't have the order from my physician?Call your physician's office and have them send you a copyof your order. How do I ensure my doctor uses a KTC facility?When your doctor orders a radiology exam, ask for a copy ofyour order. Go online to knowthecosts.com and submit anappointment request and upload the order. (Details are listed on the back of your KTC card.) We will locate a preferred provider for your exam.Going to a KTC preferred facility and using your KTC benefit istotally voluntary. It's always your choice.If you choose a non-KTC facility, you will have to file with yourhealth plan. Remember, you may have to pay co-pays,deductibles and co-insurance.How soon will my doctor receive my results? The imaging facility will send the results to your physician in thesame manner as if you were using traditional health insurance.How long does it take to get an appointment?When we receive your order, we'll find a high-quality imagingfacility in your area. How quickly is based on marketavailability and the type of imaging you need.What if my doctor wants a CD of my images?CD requests are common. At your appointment, tell thetechnologist that your doctor is requesting a CD of your examand you would like to take it with you.Will I receive a member card from KTC?Yes. A member card will be sent via mail and can also bedownloaded from our website. Use this card instead of yourhealth plan card for savings on radiology imaging.
