Lorem ipsumABOUT BGVBLACK GIRLS VOTEBLACK GIRLS VOTE, INC. (BGV) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization launched on November 30, 2015 (the birthday of Shirley Chisholm) to empower black women, especially those 18-29 years old, to change policy and our communities through the electoral process. Through our nontraditional engagement efforts that focus on meeting people where they are, Black Girls Vote has registered more than 20,000 voters in the Greater Baltimore area. BGV is also supporting the next generation of leaders and engaged voters through our High School and Collegiate Ambassador Program where BGV Ambassadors activate their student body while bringing BGV’s mission, vision and values to their campus.1
