Just in case you haven’t noticed, it’s a little crazy out there rightnow. At the time Jesus spoke these words, the world was equallytumultuous. A polarized, volatile landscape. Sound familiar? Yes, it’sa hard reality right now. The Lord has purpose in this. Against the dark backdrop, the lightof the promised Messiah radiated even brighter. Today’s troublingtimes can be disheartening, but they also provide a platform for Godto do great things. We can have peace, because Jesus overcame the world… in themost unlikely way. In the crucifixion, what appeared to be crushinghumiliation and defeat, was in fact His greatest victory. It serves as areminder to us of what the Lord can accomplish in the most difficultof circumstances. From The Director March 2025“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In thisworld you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”John 16:33.Chris Whitmore, Executive DirectorIt’s within today’s challenges we’re seeing great things at SRM.Students are discovering and growing in their God-given giftedness. They’re capturing a vision for their future and career, and developingthe tools and skills (along with the support) to walk in it. Families arefinding resolution in legal matters that have hindered their progressand vitality for too long. In the unlikeliest of settings, the Lord isreviving hearts and changing trajectories. We’re so thankful for each of you, asyou journey with us! We pray you alsoexperience His peace that passesunderstanding, which is a powerfultestimony to a world that’s watching. It’s in the hard things He teachesus, He strengthens our faith andspiritual muscles, and He expandsour understanding of who He is.It’s in the hard things His power isrevealed in us.
