Inspiring Action Powering Impact Do you have an idea that could change your community Are you looking to make a positive difference The Do Good Institute offers hands on experiences funding opportunities and engaging programs that prepare Terps with the skills experiences and resources needed to do good in their careers their communities and the world We inspire and equip chancetakers and difference makers to apply their passions and ideas to make a positive impact now Students and alums supported by Do Good have increased access to mental health services for Terps made menstrual products more accessible on campus saved millions of pounds of food from going to waste served hundreds of thousands of individuals with recycled medications helped free imprisoned journalists and so much more We re building a Do Good generation and we re just getting started

VISIT THE DO GOOD PLAZA THE RINGS A first of its kind live art display that inspires and delights visitors to campus Standing 12 feet tall the installation consists of five sensoractivated rings with speakers that connect visitors with voices from changemakers on UMD s campus STUDENTS CHANGE THE WORLD EXHIBIT Four lifesize touchscreens with directional speakers showcasing 15 stories of Terps who are making an impact on campus in their communities and across the world DO GOOD ICON Come take your picture with the Do Good sculpture This iconic campus symbol stands eight feet tall and illuminates at night showcasing UMD as the nation s first Do Good Campus
