Box 888, Hugo OK. 74743 580.326.9625 Operation Christmas Child Totals 918 SHOEBOXES!!! A total of 789 shoeboxes were dropped off at Oak Grove Baptist Church by 14 churches and were delivered by Pastor Kyle to the Durant distribution point. FBC Hugo collected an additional 129 boxes that they delivered. That comes to a grand total of 918 shoeboxes! The breakdown of shoeboxes per church as was reported to the association office are as follows: Archey: 30 Cloudy: 67 Corinth: 12 Kent: 24 FBC Ft. Towson: 24 FBC Hugo: 129 FBC Valliant: 130 Moyers: 43 Oak Grove: 86 Rufe: 27 Sawyer: 21 Shoals: 65 Sobol: 55 Southside: 30 Trinity Valliant: 33 Unity: 142 Great Job Everyone! Thank you for your love and support in this endeavor. WHAT IS THE LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING? The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® is an annual offering collected by believers around the world to support international missions. The offering was officially named in 1918 by Woman’s Missionary Union in honor of the missionary to China who urged churches to start it and give sacrificially. This offering is unique from other mission offerings in that 100% of gifts provide for missionaries all over the world. It is a valuable part of Southern Baptists' 179-year history of reaching the nations with the gospel and vital to reaching the vision of a multitude from every language, people, tribe and nation knowing and worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ. 3,602 missionaries from the International Mission Board are able to share the gospel in 122 countries because of your faithful giving. We celebrate 178,777 people who heard the gospel and took steps of faith in the last year of record. When giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, we take part in reaching 3,180 people groups around the world who have no missionary presence and likely no gospel access. https://www.imb.org/fast-facts/ Every church, regardless of size or resources, has a role to play in reaching every nation.
