A new take on the 1920s musical farce, Nice Work If You Can Get It features
the iconic music of George and Ira Gershwin. Billie Bendix, a tough-as-nails
bootlegger, and wealthy playboy Jimmy Winter, meet on the weekend of
his impending wedding. Jimmy has a habit of marrying chorus girls, but
needs to sele down with a respectable woman before his mother will
hand over the family business. He has goen engaged to Eileen Evergreen,
the self-proclaimed finest interpreter of modern dance, hoping that this
will be a beer choice than his usual chorus dancer. Needing somewhere
to stash 400 boles of gin, Billie swipes Jimmy’s wallet and hides her stash
in his empty Long Island beach house. However, when the wedding party
arrives at the beach house, the bootleggers must juggle the guests and
their business. With a Drama Desk award for Outstanding Book of a
Musical, Nice Work If You Can Get It is a definite crowd-pleaser that will
have audiences singing along in the aisles.

In the quiet, lile village of Chipping Cleghorn, an announcement in the
local newspaper causes a sr among the residents. There is to be a murder
in the home of Miss Blacklock that evening! As Miss Blacklock, her lodgers,
and curious visitors begin to arrive, tensions mount and everyone wonders
if it’s all a silly joke. However, the vicm proves to be an unexpected visitor
and not Miss Blacklock or one of the villagers at all. With the arrival of
Inspector Craddock, a murder invesgaon begins. Somewhat to his
frustraon, he is joined by amateur sleuth Miss Marple, who is always one
step ahead. They reveal that Miss Blacklock is due to inherit a huge sum of
money, but who would stand to gain from her murder? In a classic Agatha
Chrise tale of concealed idenes, desperaon, mixed moves, and
another death, it takes a risky strategy to uncover the true identy of the
murderer.

A Chorus Line examines one day in the lives of seventeen dancers, all vying
for a spot in the “chorus line” of a Broadway musical. Aer the rst round
of cuts, Zach, the director and choreographer, asks each dancer to speak
about themselves. Discomfort opens into revelaon, confession leads to
redempon, and within the bright, outwardly homogenous chorus, the
audience begins to see each dancer’s individuality. From Cassie, the star
who just needs the “music and the mirror and the chance to dance,” to Val,
a small-town girl with a brand-new big-town body, to Mike, who took his
sister’s place in dance class saying, “I can do that.”
Based on real Broadway dancers’ stories, as told to fellow dancer and
choreographer Michael Benne, A Chorus Line is funny, heartbreaking, and
refreshingly honest.

Based on the music of Queen, We Will Rock You is set 300 years in the
future in a futurisc and globally corporate world. Planet Earth has been
renamed the Planet Mall and is controlled by the Globalso Corporaon.
The head of Globalso is the sinister Killer Queen, who has banned all non-
computer generated music. She has heard of a prophecy that instruments
have been hidden somewhere on the planet and that ‘The Dreamer’ will
emerge from the people to show the way to them. She orders her Chief of
Police, Khashoggi, to get to the boom of the maer and crush any
rebellion. Meanwhile, Galileo, a young student and an outsider, is
desperate to “break free” from this corporate world. He hears lyrics in his
dreams and is heralded as the star of the prophecy by the Bohemians who
have been searching for the lost instruments. To fulfill the prophecy.
Galileo must evade the clutches of the Killer Queen and finally bring back
the music.
