CHRIST THE KING CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL GREETINGS PARENTS STUDENTS AND ALL MEMBERS AND GUESTS OF THE CTK COMMUNITY Welcome to Christ the King As we embark on a new school year we are excited to offer our student athletes 19 opportunities to compete on the varsity high school level This fall our student athletes will compete in volleyball men s soccer football men s and women s cross country women s tennis women s golf and cheerleading Although we are still a young athletic program we have already accomplished so much After the men s swim team won the 2A State Championship in 2016 women finished runner up last year the women s swim team delivered by winning the 2A State Championship themselves men finished runner up Both our men s and women s soccer teams made it to the second round of the State soccer tournament and we won conference championships in women s cross country women s tennis men s and women s swimming and women s soccer Last year we added football lacrosse and softball to the list of varsity sports in which our student athletes had the opportunity to compete This year we are happy to announce the additions of track and field as well as a club women s lacrosse both of which will compete during the spring athletic season None of this would be possible without the support of everyone in the Christ the King community We want to thank our coaches who spend a tremendous amount of time and resources into making sure our athletic teams are successful We want to thank our teachers school administration and athletic association board for all of their support time and effort that they give each and every day Finally we especially want to thank our parents who put an extraordinary amount of time effort and resources into making this athletic program the best it can possibly be Without you having such a diverse and thriving young athletic program would not be possible Thank you This year we are looking forward to our student athletes making memories that will last a lifetime and to adding to the record of accomplishments to our young history Thank you for your support and Go Crusaders Yours in Christ the King Phil Harrington Dr Carl Semmler PRINCIPAL Christ the King Catholic High School ATHLETIC DIRECTOR Christ the King Catholic High School 3
