Due to her profound love for m edicine and all things science, she always knew that the medical field was her path in life. Aft er graduation, she ret urned t o Kansas Cit y and was admit t ed t o the Kansas Cit y Kansas Communit y College Physical Therapy Assistant program. She also earned a Master ?s degree in Exercise Physiology from California University at Pennsylvania in 2012 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015.Dr. Palacios takes pride in working in her com munit y. She volunteers and treats pat ients within the Wyandot t e County area. She also volunt eers for various organizat ions t hroughout the Greater Kansas Cit y area and wit h her sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporat ed.Even as a physical t herapist, inst ructor, and wife, one of t he m ost important roles she now plays is being a mom . It ?s one of those t hings that lit erally happened overnight. Like 1 in 4 couples who st ruggle with infert ility, she and her husband were open to creat ing their family t hrough fost er care and adoption. This is the reason why Dr. Palacios loves being able to connect with people through pageantry and com munit y service. It allows her t o share her story and be an advocat e for fost er care and adoption.
