Should othercommunity alternatives and referrals fail to remedy the attendance problem,the “chronic” truant may be referred to the Family Court for violation of previouscourt order.Valid Excuse:1. Doctor’s Note2. Death Notice / Obituary3. Recognized Religious Holidayof Student’s Faith4. Suspension From School5. Principal Approved Absence(Ex. Extracurricular Sports, SchoolRelated Events, etc.)LATE??
