The more information you can provide MMC about the client’s situationwill help the qualification process.MMC Modular will then take the client through a simple step by step process to establish:If the granny flat is for family or investmentPreferred size, style and priceIf funds are available or additional funding is requiredWhen the client is ready to proceed, we recommend the MMC Modular Jump Start Option whichincludes:Preliminary plans and elevationsA review of the property to identify its suitability for the proposed designPreparation of preliminary engineer’s footing drawingsPreparation of the application to council for any permits required (does not include council fees)Estimate of onsite works to connect home to servicesDelivery cost estimate (freight and crane hire included within 50km of our factory)A geotechnical soil test to enable the engineer to design a suitable footing type and layout(additional cost may apply depending on location)MMC Modular will issue a work order to you for this preliminary work. Current contract rate is $1,500ex gst (plus soil test). If the client proceeds to a build contract, the cost of the Jump Start Option isdeducted from their purchase price.Build time averages 5 weeks. Immediately upon receipt of the unconditional build contract, depositand council approvals, we will issue a work order to you for the site works to be completed within theaverage build time.
