Project GoalProvide training to the poor of Ellerslie Pen and adjoining communitiesinJamaica, so they can produce an income and uplift their familiesfrompoverty through the Robin Mahfood Vocational and TrainingCenter.Project UpdateParish Council ApprovalThe Food For The Poor (FFTP) Parish Council approvals were received duringour last update, including municipal fees associated with obtaining buildingpermits for constructing the wall.Informal Occupier 1The informal occupier 1's shipping container was relocated and marldelivered to the new location. There was some delay in the timeline due to theselection and preparation of the new site by the informal occupier, but nowhis activity has been completed.Informal Occupier 2The informal occupier 2's materials and equipment were relocated to the newsite. There was some delay in the timeline due to the selection andpreparation of the new site by the informal occupier, but now his activity hasbeen completed.PreliminariesThe completed preliminaries included the preparation of drawings and landsurveyor's documents. Preliminary components have gone from being onlythose actions at the begining of the project but will now run the full length toinclude security, water, setting out works, safety and welfare.

Site PreparationSite preparation is an ongoing activity and will be required throughout theproject.Perimeter BlockwalThe perimeter blockwall is in progress and advancing at an excellent pace.

FFTP cleared the debris, leaving land ready for construction.
