These communities need Oasissimilarly to how franchisors need goodconsultants. This is rarely a tough sell. OasisSenior Advisors is like having a “free” salesforce out marketing their home/community toquality residents. To develop this relationship, the Advisor contacts and meets with thesales/marketing director or the executive directorof the community to take a tour, learn the detailsof the community, and have the referralagreement signed. Once the agreement issigned, all details of the community are enteredinto OasisIQ.Franchisees focus a large portion of their time ondeveloping referral sources through marketingand networking. Hospitals and Skilled NursingFacilities need us to help them turn their beds.Franchisees attain a Certified Senior Advisordesignation (CSA) which, among other things, enters them into a world of eldercareprofessionals. They set meetings with leadsources, take them to lunch, bring them giftbaskets, and send cards, often the most fun partof the business. The lead sources eagerly andexcitedly start recommending Oasis to oneanother and to their clients, who are often facingurgent situationsFranchisees spend the other portion of theirweek working directly with clients, guidingseniors and their families through their seniorliving options. Ultimately, Oasis advisorsschedule community tours for the family andseniors and accompany the family and facilitatethe tours whenever possibleYour Oasis Senior Advisors BusinessYou’ll require minimal overhead to operate our senioradvising franchise because most of your time will bespent in the field researching communities, buildingrelationships, and visiting with clients. All you’ll need is adedicated business phone and an iPad or tablet onwhich to run our OasisIQ™ software. In the field, you’ll work with three main groups:Senior Housing CommunitiesThese include assisted living, independent living, residential care homes, and memory care communities, among others. They depend on you to represent them toyour clients, so they will be happy to show you aroundand answer all your questions.Senior Referral SourcesSocial workers, eldercare attorneys, hospital dischargenurses, and anyone else who regularly interacts withseniors can recommend your services and send clientsyour way, so it’s important to build relationships withthem and help them understand your services.SeniorsYou’ll work most often with seniors themselves, theiradult children, or both to determine their needs andpreferences and find just the right senior living solution.Since many people don’t know where to begin such asearch, they’ll turn to you as a trusted expert. You’ll help your clients explore funding options availableto them, as well as arrange and accompany them ontours of potential housing communities that fit theirrequirements.
