College of Health / Centers, Labs, and Facilities6CENTERS, LABS, & FACILITIESClick the areas below to discover many of the state-of-the-art centers and facilities on campus for our various health professions:Interprofessional Community ClinicsThe Interprofessional Community Clinics are comprised of three clinics, and a center that oers health and wellness services and education to the greater Muncie community. Under the supervision of experienced faculty and licensed health professionals, students work closely with clients to provide aordable, quality care.Human Performance LaboratoryFounded in 1965, the Human Performance Lab has a long history of applied exercise physiology research and training within its 20,000-square-foot space. The facility hosts a research data processing room, research kitchen, electronics and instrument fabrication workshop, sterile preparation room, tissue processing and cryostorage rooms, and more!Center for Peace and Conict StudiesThe Center for Peace and Conict Studies supports and pursues scholarship, education, training, consultation, and outreach dedicated to addressing direct, structural, and cultural forms of violence and conict. The center provides the student body and campus community a place to learn about international issues while raising awareness on diversity.Simulation and Information Technology CenterThe Simulation and Information Technology Center provides services and resources for nursing students. The center has a variety of diverse spaces available for students to practice safe patient care in a controlled environment.Center for Substance Use Research and Community Initiatives (SURCI)SURCI is a partnership between Ball State and the Addictions Coalition of Delaware County. The center serves as a resource, communication, training, and support hub for faculty, sta, students, and the community to address substance abuse and misuse in East Central Indiana.
