...2IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUTHOUSING MOVE-IN Log into ULINK. Click on the “Campus Services” tab. Click “StarRez Housing Portal.” Click “Continue” for the Academic Year 2021-2022 housing application. The Housing Status page will open next. This page will have students’assignment information.Students can find their housing assignments, roommate information, and theirassigned move-in time in the StarRez Housing portal by doing the following:1.2.3.4.5.Encourage your student to reach out to their roommate to get acquainted, plan roomdécor, and decide who will bring what supplies to help cut costs and save space.Students will need to make sure that their first full payment for housing and meals ismade prior to the University’s deadline for tuition and fees (August 23, 2021).For social distancing purposes, a specific check-in date and time has been posted to each resident’s StarRez Housing Portal. Failure to follow the specific date and time will result in waiting long periods of time in the August heat.Only two non-residents at a time will be allowed in the building to help the student move in during the time slot allotted. ...Join us for our final Virtual Parent & Family Roundtable of the summer on Tuesday, August 3 at5:30 PM! ...3All residents and non-residents will be required to wear a facial covering forthe duration of the move-in process. Please bring your own; however, theHousing Office will provide a facial covering to anyone that does not have one.Residents will also be required to wear a facial covering any time they areoutside of their residence hall room or apartment.Only two people are allowed at a time in the elevators. To help with social distancing, stairwells and side entrances will be open formove in. Volunteers will not be able to help residents with personal belongings. TheUniversity will have large bins on rollers to put personal items in to help theprocess. However, we suggest bringing a dolly and/or collapsible cart to helpget items to the rooms. Vehicles will be allowed in unloading zones near the residence halls for 20 minutes only. After 20 minutes has passed, vehicles must relocate todesignated parking lot.UL LAFAYETTE DINING SERVICESWhether your student is living on or off campus, they won’tgo hungry while they’re here! The Dining Services staff works hard to ensure that your student has access to tasty and healthy meals throughout their busy schedule. Be sure to follow Dining Services on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for daily updates, information, raffles, and more! Daily menus for Cypress Lake Dining Room can be viewed on the Bite by Sodexo app.The UL Lafayette Move-In Central website contains additional information abouthousing move-in, including a packing list, guidelines for decorating, and more!

...Meal plans are divided into two components: meal swipes and declining balance.The components of your student’s meal plan will be loaded onto their Cajun Card.Meal plans for the Fall 2021 semester will begin on August 19, 2021. Meal Swipes can be used at Cypress Lake Dining Room, Lagniappe Café, and CafeFleur de Lis. Declining Balance can be used at any location operated by UL LafayetteDining Services. 4MEAL PLANSStudents can select a meal plan or see their selected meal plan for the upcomingsemester in the StarRez Housing Portal. Meal plans are financially beneficial and arehuge timesavers for students with busy schedules across campus.
